Just last week, my pastor went to an Indian reservation in Arizona and told a family about Christ. They had never heard of Jesus Christ. They have spent thier whole life on a reserve. I think that means there are some people who haven't heard the message of Christ yet. U might wannt take this video down and stop preaching that message b/c its contrary to the word.

@Nashhinton, In Conclusion It is quite clear that since the church is not mentioned in Matthew 24, then verse 31 cannot be a reference to the rapture of the church. I believe this is the Second Coming of Christ and are two separate events.
For me personally, the greatest evidence that the overcoming church will be raptured prior to the tribulation can be summed up in two verses:

Sometime people get confused when they are are studying apart from seeking God enough for their understanding. @toppot44, That verse DIRECTLY corresponds to Matthew 24:29-31, which names the same events. And when does Matthew 24 say the rapture happens? AFTER the tribulation of those days. The rapture and the first resurrection happens simultaneously- AFTER the tribulation. 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 mentions the same events. Yet it talks about the rapture happening during the last trumpet. When is the last trumpet? Go to Revelation and read about the 7th trumpet. There is no pretrib rapture.

The Age of the Son of Man is talking about the Christian dispensation....meaning now. The Old Law died on the Cross, so it's talking about the last age, which is the age we live in today. If you deny the rapture then you deny the resurrection of Christ. If you believe in the resurrection then you believe in the rapture. The difference between everyone is the timing of the rapture. There will be a rapture and itll happen before the tribulation. The believer is not appointed unto wrath. Pray that ye may be accounted worthy to escape these things that shall come to pass (trib). Rightly divide the word of truth and you will see this beautiful comforting truth.
I would have to say he is truly lost if he doesn't believe in a rapture. The bible clearly says there will be a rapture. The bible says the dead in Christ shall rise first. And they which are remain shall be caught up together to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. He seems to be misinterpreting scripture.

When using titles there are words in the greek that are masculine and feminine. Then there are words that are gender neutral that are used because they apply to male and females. The rapture and the first resurrection happens simultaneously- AFTER the tribulation. 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 mentions the same events. Yet it talks about the rapture happening during the last trumpet. When is the last trumpet? Go to Revelation and read about the 7th trumpet. There is no pretrib rapture.

The Age of the Son of Man is talking about the Christian dispensation....meaning now. The Old Law died on the Cross, so it's talking about the last age, which is the age we live in today. That's why we don't live by the Old Testament anymore.

If you don't think there is a rapture, that is merely your opinion, which you are in titled to... Remember, for those watching and waiting, the thief could not break in... The thief would catch those unaware, when there was no preparation made... Granted, most Christians will not be prepared and will have to be martyred to wash their robes and become holy... There is a rapture, but only for a select few...This is why Jesus sends out a clear warning in the first 3 Chapters of Revelations.

If you deny the rapture then you deny the resurrection of Christ. If you believe in the resurrection then you believe in the rapture. The difference between everyone is the timing of the rapture. There will be a rapture and itll happen before the tribulation. The believer is not appointed unto wrath. Pray that ye may be accounted worthy to escape these things that shall come to pass (trib). I would have to say he is truly lost if he doesn't believe in a rapture. The bible clearly says there will be a rapture. The bible says the dead in Christ shall rise first. Luke 17:20"observation" is the greek parateresis, meaning HOSTILE WATCHING not it will not come at all for it is universal in scope. @RUABerean Rev 1:1 I see u did not reference the whole passage. He signified it which in the gr semaino, which basically means to make clear, and it was done so by an angel. For u i guess angel or "messenger" means anything but a "literal messenger". That it does not mean that all things are in symbols is apparent from other verses where semaino is used John 12:33, 18:32, 21:19 and others. When using titles there are words in the greek that are masculine and feminine. Then there are words that are gender neutral that are used because they apply to male and females. Tony Smith fails to realize these grammatic laws in the greek. Just like an English teacher in the U.S. would correct us . He fails to realize what hes saying and if you refer back to the greek language you would see how. He doesnt understand you have to understand the culture , region etc.
