Hey Gace :) I totally love your show :) The best vege tempura is fresh green beans and broccoli! I love that... it's sooo yummy. Next time, I'm sure you know this... but get some daikon raddish and ...what's the word.. grate it on the very small side to where you make a kind of paste and add your tempura sauce. It's sooo good. Eggplants are really good with tempura,too.
