While there is a correlation between weights/strength and musclemass, the only thing that counts is the muscle building effect you get out from it, and the amount of mass you have. If lighter weights allows better form of excercise, and in turn giving you better results - weights/strength is totally irrelevant. This is not powerlifting, it's bodybuilding - doing whatever works to get what you want, not competing who lifts the most.

Zane was a great champion. Bodybuilding ideals change over time. During Zane's era, the preferred aesthetic was lean symmetry, not necessarily gargantuan size.
