Nokia management have their heads up their ass. They are now in bed with Microsoft, and are always looking for ways to please their board and major shareholders. Short term thinking for quarter to quarter earnings. Idiots. They have no clue of the mistake they are making by dumbing Meego. This could be a contender to Android and iphone. Hey.. you can even get an app for the Nokia Meggo N9 so you can download Android apps! The are as disconnected to the real world as European bankers.

And why did not N9 or N950 use MeeGo? What was wrong on that project Nokia? Why did you need to take Harmattan instead MeeGo and slap UX on it and call it as MeeGo?

For those who does not know:

MeeGo is software system what is result of Maemo and Moblin joining and still under development.

Harmattan is software system what is developed from Maemo before MeeGo project was brached and is different project.

UX is the GUI for both from Nokia.

~90% of N9/N950 software system is open source.

Honestly, it looks cheap...i am not impressed. When it slide the keyboard out, it lifted the screen at a ridiculous angle. The keys look like toys to me. Another thing is, it's got NO FM transmitter...which is VERY important to me!! I'll pass...i think my N900 is still better HONESTLY cuz it got features i want.

Plus, the N950 does not support the fantastic NFC technology seen in N9 and only supports Bluetooth till 2.1 (whereas the N9 supports 4.0+). As many sources have stated, the hardware is perfect and MeeGo is a brilliant and fantastic OS, which really should be the future of mobile technology. I will be supporting it full-on when it releases, as I know many others will be too.
