  • @ledglow

    Thanks, ill do that.

  • could i possibly run the power cables directly to my alternator so it only runs while the engine runs?

  • @vamphunte

You want to run it to any switched 12 volt source, that will ensure that the kit will only operate when the power is turned on.

  • A wireless kit? VERY cool, nice idea, thanks for sharing.

I've always wanted to put these on a car(a friend has asked me because I'm doing a mechanics course =P) but I only understand how to link them up to the(car battery).

For example I have no idea how to link each wire up to switch inside the car and my teacher has explained twice to me, I just don't understand it yet.

  • @Johny40Se7en

When we say wireless, we mean the kit is controlled with a wireless remote, as well as the with the control box. The tubes are mounted to the frame of your car, you then run the wires into the interior via the firewall, and connect them to the junction box. The most difficult part of the install is running the wires through the firewall, and making sure they are away from any direct heat source or moving parts. If you have any other questions just ask.

  • @ledglow Thanks buddy, nice of you to explain, I have two questions if it's ok.

    1. what is a 'junction box'? in the UK we might call it something else but not sure.

    2. what's a firewall and how do you put wires through it?

    Thanks.

  • @Johny40Se7en

The junction box connects to the underbody control box, and is where you connect the underbody tubes for power. The firewall is the plate between your engine and your interior. There should be an existing hole to run wires through.

  • Yes, this kit has an external microphone as well as a line-input for direct audio hook up.

  • now i'm just wondering but is this kit responsive to music?
