its definetly one of (if not) Anthony Perkins best roles for me personally, great choice! its been another film alot of people have picked for various days on the challenge! thanks for the video response :-)
You know hitch did film a little bit of this movie in color and when he saw the daily was not happy with the look so he changed his mind and went ot black & white. I have seen the shower scene without music or any kind of noise and it is kind of creepy, but you are right the music is what made that seen. Something that you for got to mention is that the name Loomis has inspired others to use in there horror films. Halloween Dr. Loomis and Scream Billy Loomis.
Mine is "Black Sunday" from the same year. It's Italian. It's beautifully shot.
The music in the shower-scene is iconic. But as you mentioned it I thought about the idea of having it without music. It's interesting. Could have added a nice effect too. Just the kill and the raw sound of the shower. Like playing with the audience and their habits. Cold realism.
@DocHackenbush - you are right, it could have been equally dramatic without the music, but that score with the stabing (in the shower) is just EPIC! Thanks for watching!
@SLSwriter that it does. You know what's gonna happen (if you seen before that is) but you are still fixed to the screen. shows what a genius Hitchcock was.
Excellent choice. I can't believe I've been missing most of this 30 days. I'll have to make a video to make up for all these questions

Great movie, the remake was pretty pointless. I love your shirt by the way.

Cmmonn the bass player from Red Hot Chili Peppers was in the remake. Just kidding. It still sucked ass.
I like Psycho too!!! Although eyes without a face was pretty damn good too. Don't know if you could call it horror though.
