  • Nice to see a girl playing with such intensity!!!

  • Brought tears of joy to my eyes. BRAVO - BRAVO - BRAVO!!!

  • This prodigy's name is Ms Karen Electra Christianson of Philadelphia and the famed Curtis Institute of Music. Google her to discover the remarkable places she has played throughout the world & her amazing accomplishments. I intend to see her here in Louisville, Kentucky today at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 3pm for a concert!

  • VERY WELL DONE! my compliments, greetz from the Netherlands! You parents should be very proud of you! :) VERY PROUD! :)

  • Wonderful playing. Too bad we are not told the organist's name! We do the human metronome ... maybe future videos can feature the organist ALONE!

  • Yes, a nice steady tempo. That's exactly what this piece deserves.

You maintain the clarity and the natural beauty of this work so well. I certainly do want to see more of this kind of exellence on Youtube.

If I were you I'd endeavour to study with Ben van Oosten, you truly are more than deserving of it.

    Grade: A

  • You deserve a better instrument then this! I think a Cavaille_Coll organ will do your talent right! Come to the Netherlands were the most beautiful organs in the world are gathered or go to the organ capitol of the world.......Paris!

Your so gifted, love to hear you play!

  • Nice comment and compliment. But please realize that's the new Cooper Memorial Dobson organ in Verizon Hall of Kimmel Center - Home of the Philadelphia Orchestra.

  • Remarkable! Thank you so much...and God bless you and your prodigious talent. We're certainly blessed by your playing.

  • your AMAZING playing that piece! I want to learn it for my next song great job!!!!

  • Brava, bravissima!

  • much clearer recording and registration here than in the SLC recording. This is a talented musician!

  • I wish we could find out who this young organ prodigy is. Great sound!

  • Fantastic! I'm a 14 year old organ student in England, and you are evidently very VERY talented to be able to play this piece at 12! You are also very lucky to have an instrument like that at your disposal as well! Although I've not done badly at all, I've got a large cathedral organ to play with!

Anyway, I'd love to learn that piece myself, and you played it fantastically, well done!

  • Well, I think we have here the next generation of Felix Hell, Cameron Carpenter, Paul Jacobs, Tom Trenney, etc. in that she is starting so young. I can't wait to see here in the future. Bravo!

  • Lovelye played and what a nice piece...

  • well done you play like a pro

  • Absolutely fantastic playing - I very much enjoyed your Buxtehude D minor as well, which was well thought out - a difficult piece to pull off indeed. I am a Cathedral organist in the UK and I have to say that these performances were some of the most exciting I have heard in a while. Do keep your playing up!

  • Well done! You're a real ambassador for the instrument! Keep playing!

  • WOW!!!! I wish I could play half as well as you do! keep up the great work!

  • Nicely done! And there's Alan Morrison! Alan is just such a cool and funny guy. Anywho, sounds great!

  • The pedal is quite good! Very strong for an American organ.

  • Hi! I'm fourteen, I just did an improvisation on the tune of the Westminster Bells. I am going to do the Vierne version next week.

  • I love the tempo here. That's a lovely organ as well; I've heard it before, and it is an amazing instrument... Dobsons are wonderful.

How long have you been playing pipe organ/piano?

    Best,

    - - - Cody.

  • What did you think of the Dobson here? I do love those tubas on the solo division! Very nicely played, I'm learning this at the moment. Keep it up!

  • Young lady, whoever you are, you are gifted at a level that few people will ever know. Your performance of this difficult piece by Louis Vierne is stunning and flawless, as far as I could tell. Your command of the instrument is unheard of for someone so young. I love the way you used the swell pedal to control the dynamics, it was most effective. Have you ever heard of Paul Jacobs who is the chairman of the organ department at the Juilliard School? You could study further under him.

  • Brava!!

  • WoW! My Congratulations! Very Well Done.

  • Well done!!

  • She's wonderful!

I just did a performance in an emergency situation at Kimmel, and loved playing that organ.

  • 5 stars, no doubt! Very well played. Wonderful crecendo at the end and good work with the swell. I have played this piece too and I know how diffcult this piece is. You play better than many other organplayers which I know. Keep on your work - you are a real prodigy.

When I was 12, I began with my organ lessons with pedal studies, while you're playing Vierne at this age... Greetings from Germany.
