I live in Makati for 6 years. I have a very fond memories of the place. From Shopping at SM and Landmark to watching a movie at Greenbelt. Way back then the place is beautiful and now years has passed it's even better. I miss Makati my home and workplace from 1984 to 1990.

mahdogzbite im included in that 89,999,90 and im doing my best to make my country progress and by working hard so i will not be included in the so called below poverty line :). i hope you did it too. work hard not only for your family and for yourself but also for the good of your country. dont rely on government so much we must help them. and how promote tourism!!! uploads all the beautiful places of philippines specially beaches. beaches in phil are way better than thailand i know this.:)

nice!!!!. upload all the beautiful places of philippines. if you are working from other country i gonna tell you their news will only show the bad side of philippines like the squatter and poor people. so how do you think how do people in other country visit the philippines?? i hope they upload all not just makati

makati skyline has improved a lot after 7 years. sm malls in makati is the best. mrt trains is good except the ins and out where guards constantly checks bags. except for air pollution caused by jeepneys and buses, makati would really be beautiful.

Progress???
Every building seen in this footage is actually owned by about only 10 families in the Philippines. What about the remaining 89,999,990 Filipinos? And you people call this progress?

hahahaha! what a joke! During 2007 the Philippines experienced faster growth than most countries! 7.5 GDP growth, and that's huge for a developing country. But after that was released the Philippines became a newly industrialized nation. That's what we call progress! Eben though we are slumping right now. it's not just us its the whole world. I suggest researching first before commenting. :) BTW who works for those 10 families? Filipinos. We may not feel the progress now but we will in due time.

I like your video, eventhough I migrated already in the US, I still like Makati very much. Worked there for 10 years, and I still love it till now. I miss the nightlife back in Makati.

big lie for foreigners. Ayala,Makati Ave, Greenbelt, with its few "glossy" scyscrapers is only a small enclave, a "show-off" in a sea of misery of Manila, crime, polution, corruption, people pissing on sidewalks, jeepneys, slums, hungry and dying people, hopeless poverty, abused and jailed children, young prostitutes (pardon-gogo entertainers), economy based shamelessly on babysitters working abroad. This is real Philippines. Fix it,then show your "glossy" Makati.Expat who spent 5 years there.

Good job on the vid. None of the shaky vids being posted... make me dizzy :P Many changes in less than 10 years. Progressive indeed. Hope it goes for all other aspects of Philippine life. I miss it sorely. Thanks for posting.

Show the real philippines!!! Not just in makati but the entire philippines on how progressive we are!!! Focus on the beautiful skyscraper and make the most of it!!! we are bored of beaches, caves, and festivals. Show the Philippines what He got!!!
