Never mind about the "key.bat" part. The text was so small on the second file creation that I didn't see that it was named "key.bat". Sorry about that. ^^;
This a very stupid question, but will the file or folder still remain locked even if you share it with someone else?
Also, what is "key.bat"? Nothing was explained about it. It just suddenly appeared. Are we supposed to make this "key.bat" or what? I don't completely understand how to unlock anything with this.
@RolandCsiszer: You're doing something wrong, that I can't tell. So watch the video again and carefully follow the steps for unlocking. The codes are in the "video description" too.
@zakariyastasa I'm not quite sure it works for XP too. But I guess it should, copy the instructions from the "video description". It's working for others, it'll work for you too.
ok im gettin confuced here you tell us to save it as a loc.bat file and then you tell us to make the same thing and to save it as the same name, all thats goign to do it replace it, ive missed something here lol help me out plz
I see what was your problem, the first link has a syntax error and that is an espace between 0800 2B30309D. It should not have that espace and it should work like a charm.!
The only thing i can suggest you is copy and paste the code I have in the 'more info' of this video. Because I'm sure you've typed it in wrong. As you can see, I have done it in the video and I'm sure it works.
well, if its a disk drive, i guess it won't work because you can't write on a disk once written. when you execute the *.bat (batch) file, what happens is that a command is executed on the folder. you can see the properties of the folder once you've locked it, the code provided is appended to it.
you can try it out if you desire, not sure it'll work.

as you can see in the screenshots, i am using vista, itself. what i can advise you is to check the code. rather copy the code from more info of this video. while saving the notepad file, select all files and not text files and save the file with extension .bat. and store the file in the same folder as the folder you wish to lock. if you wish lock, for instance, bin folder from c:\program files\adobe, the bat file should lie in the same path. also specify the correct file name in the notepad code
it's not working in win7
what the hell??

You're not entirely clear how you unlock a file. "Key.bat." means nothing to me.

if AnyBody Delete dis Folder Then What Should We Do ?
Folder Should Be Undeleteable Then It Will Good Job
raza7088 3 years ago
it can be deleted. you can place the folder in a way that it doesn't seem suspicious of containing data.
