Hey, it just occurred to me that Kate does read books. I really enjoyed Curious Incident, although I've only half finished it, which is normal for me unless the book is by Arthur C. Clarke. And, yes, Italo Calvino. And might I also suggest 'The Third Policeman' by Flan O'brien. It's wacky.

Lullaby was my least favourite Chuck Palahniuk book, and it seriously makes my heart bleed to say that, I love him a freakish amount. Invisible Monsters and Haunted ftw. You should also read A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon, it's amazing.
