Those eggs are property of the California Fish & game and are raised at the hatchery until they are decent size fingerlings and then they are released to various lakes in the Spring. The Kokanee organizations were there that day to help collect the fish and the DFG guys in the video were doing the spawning process. Raising them would not be easy as you would need chilled running water as they are a cold water species. Thanka for watching.
