You're most welcome, Ray! I came back to listen to it again tonight and was surprised to see a reply! This song is so beautiful and I can't find this recording of it anyplace except some very expensive used recordings of Saudade, most of which I already have. I am so enthralled with the compositions of Moacir Santos, and your flute playing on this song is exceptional! I want to listen to it over and over again! Do you know of someplace I could purchase it for a reasonable price?

For a bassoonist, you're a pretty good flutist. Have you ever played in a fullor part-time orchestra (bassoon)?

....Yes, mostly as a featured soloist. Although my legendary teacher, Simon Kovar, prepared me with the customary classical literature, I never persued a full-time orchestra gig because I prefer the challenge-variety-versatility of studio work.
