Such a killer Pic and killer track!! Well if its an old dubplate, it will propably never be released.. Just askin beacause i love this track: Could u put a download-link up for this? I WANT IT ARGH
I've never seen the first three comments on a youtube video being as informative as this ones! Tune is dope, but doesn't sound like Hamburg to me at all :D
This may sound fucking stupid, but what exactly is a dubplate? I've been following the community pretty religiously for around a year and always hear 'dub' and 'dubplate' being chucked about, does it just mean it's unsigned? Cheers, keep up with the uploads :D
@FalconPunch139 You should just look it up on google. But "dubplate" came from reggae culture and was the name for the acetate disc used to test out tracks that were unreleased. The term was adopted into jungle and subsequently drum & bass because they were both heavily influenced by the reggae scene. Now it's pretty much used to describe something that hasn't yet been released, or something that's a one-off production like a VIP mix an artist might use exclusively in shows.
this is class!!

@FalconPunch139 Dubplate can either mean a tune which is unsigned as you guessed, or a part of a vinyl disk.
Dub is a word for voicing over something. For example, Japanese anime often have English dubs over them for English speaking audiences.
