That tank is DEFF too small for all them turtles. I have a red eared slider turtle and he has a 55 gallon tank just for himself! Nice setup though.

Looking at your tank, I see it is not very large and you have four turtles in it and that is way too overcrowded: I have a sixty gallon turtle tank with two turtles.

@dalila1028 it would cost about 110 for a tank that will be a good size maybe a 40 gallon breeder 30 for a dock and 15 for a light (and you need 2 lights) and then the bulbs are about 10 and water conditioner for like 12 then you need a canister filter because they are messy thats about 120 at the lest and you need rocks that is about 20 you the turtle is about 12 to 20 for cheep pet store turtles so thats just the stuff you NEED but ya look at my video on my 40 gallon breeder i have babys :D

@Tuner311091 great tank, but man watch the basking edge and believe me they will climb out of it, a higher design of plastic edge of some rocks would do, plus reduce the water flow

awesome setup haha. Do you ever have algae problems? I got two pretty large turtles and algae keeps growin in them.

I never had algae problems because I use a big external filter and i clean the tank every month!

Im planning on getting a mud turtle. I was gonna have a slope of pebbles so On top of the slop I have land they can lay on.. Anf they can swim in the water when they go down the slop.. I heard you shouldnt do that cause they can choke.. Any new ideas?

Infact my basking area was on the top level of water (5 cm on top), this allow to breathe and eliminates the risk of suffocation..

i use a aquatic heater to warm the water and i use an aquatic thermometer for look the temperature.

In winter the temp is stable on 22°C..... in summer on 24-26°C whitout aquatic heater

è un acquario fatto da mio padre, 80x45x50h

contiene circa 100L ed è munito di un termoriscaldatore da 100w, un filtro interno che non ricordo quale sia (mi sembra Askoll), uno spot e a breve comprerò un neon uvb!!!
