Here's the deal, the Sens had it coming for Havlat showing his ass that season and cheapshotting top players....Anyone that talks shit on this interview obviously doesnt know the whole or are just bitter little internet trolls that know nothing of the situation. The bottom line is this watch the footage,Ray was looking for it with a small player, got his ass handed to him by someone who saw what he was doing.Ray going after Kapanen,Way to go Brash, youre the man...
This guy is a legend who needs to go down in NHL history. Theres not many guys like him anymore. This guy is one tough MoFo. I just wish he could've fought Paul Laus more often. I love how Brashear dusts his hands off in the penalty box after a fight.
@BillSteer99 ........rofl......u love him being cocky no wonder mcsorley wanted to behead that dude hes dirty if you say hes a legend then you are crazy
Say what you want about brash but that guy doesnt fuck around. He goes out and takes care of business every game he's in, whether he fights or not. He's one of that last true heavyweights left in the game and in my opinion has to be considered for a spot on the top 10 all time list when he retires.

Anyone see howWade Belak knock ed this guy out in their last bout? Brashear is old he's 37 Laraque is still in his prime so is Belak...Boogaard too, but not Brashear anymore
@satchelmuffins brashear is still one of the best in the league. the KO from belak vs. brash was a lucky punch, that all. belak is not better than brashear, both are great. but brash and his career will step him to the top 10 all time
@Taubi81 Really? A lucky punch? Brashear has not felt comfortable in any fight with Belak so I do not consider Brashear much better than him. Switching hands and knocking a guy with the left hand is not a lucky fact. On the other hand, Brashear has always faced the best enforces in the league but, despite the fact he has won may fights along the years, he has never inflicted serious damage to the best (Probert, Lararque, McSorley, Kocur, Simon, etc) and has not showed dominance in this aspect.
@mgljimcmgl what does it matter? you analyze this like its mma or boxing. its not about who the best fighter is. they fight for the logo on the front, for their teammates. not the name on the back of the jersey
@tillymaster44 Obviously, these kind of players take an important role in order to protect their teammates. I only referred about the fact that fighting in this level, and considering that we are talking about players who really know how to use their fists, luck has the lowest importance.
Met him in a strip bar in phila when he played here and thats no act... thats how he is in real life! Should have never left the Flyers, Cote just isn't that good a fighter. HE's WILLING but get hammered way to often.
The thing that bothered me about Cote is the way the Flyers tried to jam him up our ass when all you had to do was watch him fight and to watch him fight the better fighters and you could see he was in way over his head. I don't want to see a guy lose his job but he just wasn't that good at it....just willing. The book is still out on Carcillo as far as i'm concerned because I think the guys in the east are tougher than the guys he's had to deal with in the west.
Pay attention to what I said. I'll admit I use to be a huge Brashear fan, especially in his philly days. Now I lost respect for him. He jumped Vitaly Vishnevsky about 2 years ago and Zach Bogosian this year just for the hell of it. I'm not talking about this paticular fight. Funny how people don't pay attention.
Those reporters are douchebags. Brashear's an asshole but he's totally right here.

Brash, what do you think of all the times you've bailed on fights when you were about to get hit?
Great fighter, but seriously, what a piece of shit.

"dumb monkey"? jeeezz, and you wonder why people think hockey fans are dumb.....
look......live your life for a while and you'll see that all of the more intelligent people have a habit of asking "why not" as opposed to "why".
because they're "doers", not "looking for a reason not to doers" ...
and all of the less intelligent people in the world are still calling african americans "monkeys" in internet forums...

Jumped him? Did you not see this fight? The guy sucker punched him and Brashear let it slide, then he elbowed Brashear in the face.
Funny how whenever Brashear beats the shit out of someone who starts it hes a punk.
