there has always been people who are badly effected by this kind of content and i can see why some people are upset but it is not for the faint hearted and is rated 18. i am 13 years old and i think that certificates are guidelines but some parents need to think about how it will affect their kids and wether or not they are mature enough to play it. Also the mission is meant to be dramatic and slightly disturbing so that it makes you hate the antagonists.

If you look at the level "No Russian" in the story concept, it's necessary. This act incites Russia's full-out assault on America, looking something like Red Dawn. Without it, the story cannot go on. If you don't like it, skip it. You're given the option. If you want to bite the bullet, go on and unleash Hell on Russian civilians.

In the modern day world you are either three things in life. A civilian, a solider, or a terrorist....When i put my mw2 disc into the xbox 360 disc tray, the game loaded up, i was expecting an adrenline pumped adventure. What i ended up getting was a warning for this very level, and i chose to play it. Activision stated that the level was designed to make people hate terrorists. For god's sake I don't need a disturbing 5 minute level for me to hate terrorists!

But IW should take this mission out of the game. I dont even have a problem with watching it as a cutscene. The content does not bother me too much. But scripting into the game play participation in a contemporary and horrible crime committed by the player is unnecessary and should be out of bounds. Killing civilians in GTA? Fine, do what you like, but being forced to take part in a mission that is like Vtech and Ft Hood? Why the hell?
