I think this was a wonderful performance from Rachel. I do also understand Denise's comment because there was something about Rachel's appearance that stopped me from really liking her performances. That sounds terrible - I don't mean her atractiveness, but I think it is something that's just lacking behind the eye, so it doesn't quite seem like she connects. She can sometimes be a bit slick and trained I think.

I am friendly with some of these girls and am happy for the exposure this programme is generating for them. I also know who ill win the competition. Its a fix. Just like they took Lee mead out of 'Phantom of the Opera' to put him into 'Any Dream Will Do', and told Connie Fisher in November 2005 to wait for the 'HDYSAPLM' series. In a nutshell, Rachel is by far the best vocally AND in her acting. Jodie is a Cabaret singer who danced like a BUILDER. Samanths is just plain AVERAGE (but happens to be beautiful), Jessie is determined but needs to go through Drama school and then she will be great. Niamh is not a Nancy but a very talented girl, who is now out of the competition.  VOTE RACHEL!

Jessie is hopeless, how will she cope when the critics say something bad about her on the West End, which no doubt they will. Her diction is terrible and her london accent is awful!

To be honest if I was irish i would find it really hard to do a cockney accent and I can't even do one and I'm from Birmingham! Barry talks a load of nonsense and everyone takes the comments to heart because if you don't then you won't work on them and will be worse the next week. I think Jessie did really well and I hope she wins! xxx

Rachel and Niamh are Irish aswell but they seem to be able to manage the accent, Jessie just doesn't seem capable of it.

But I don't think people would be too fussed if there was an Irish Nancy, let her keep the accent, and maybe just try to tone it down a bit.

I do see that she should try not to have the Irish accent in her singing as much though, the lyrics in musicals are more important that in pop songs etc.

The one thing I would say is that the Irish accent is much stronger then the Northen Irish accent, also Rachel has lived in London for a while hasn't she so she had more of a head start i guess. but who knows.
