  • Nice list but I also loved; soul plane, white chicks, rush hour 1,2 &3..., brides maid and so much from eddie murphy,Adam Sandler, Jim carry, Ben stiler...omg "yes man" was great

  • What about "How High" " scary movie 1 & 2" "Friday trilogy" I did I get here??

  • This is a list of recent movies but there are alot of older and other movies like jerry lewis, louis de funes, jackie chan, john candy, Bill Murray and alot of movies from other comedy actors.

  • @htdmc2010 I appreciate the older comedy videos and did mention Jerry Lewis, Laurel and Hardy and John Candy...thanks.

  • all those movies r the best comedys i agree with u

  • hello i have response for you of my top 10 so ive responded it.

  • somthing about mary is my all time fav comedy film

  • ive seen it its rubbish dumb n dumberer its called n basicaly its just a prequal, it goes back to their tenage lives.

  • OK, my top ten movies are: Alvin and the Chipmunks Chip-Wrecked, Astérix et Obélik Mission Cléopatre, Le Dîner de Cons (Original France Edition, not the American one), Trois Hommes et un Couffin (again, the France edition), Encino Man, Un Indien Dans La Ville (it's Jungle 2 Jungle but from France), Home Alone 2 Lost In New York, Dennis the Menace, Tirelire Combine et Cie. and finally, the cream of the crop, Louis 19 Roi des Ondes.

  • Any movie with Canadian actors are always the best and funniest. But I have to say the funniest ever was the 40 year old virgin when it first came out I saw it like 10 times. I couldn't get enough of it and also the 41 year old virgin which was a spoof on the 40 year old virgin.

  • i did a response video for u its on my page. ill post a link.

  • @deanomac24 Please post it as a video response to this video if you like. Thanks!

  • dumb and dumber, Oldschool, Bushwacked, meet the parents, Heartbreak kid. I loved those. I enjoy all of your choices. There were a few decent Adam Sandler movies aswell. But I have to say that none of these movies come close to the show Seinfeld. Nice video!

  • Please remind me to do a response to this, I really liked this idea. I am a huge fan of comedy movies. Dumb and Dumber #1 to be honest. My whole family loved it.

  • Theres Something About Mary love that movie 2 :) Larry Great Video man.

  • chrismas vacation .. what a classic , one of my fav's is Jay and silent bob strike back

  • And oh yeah, "The Big Lebowsky" is hilariously VERY good comedy. REALLY foul language which I just had to get over, but the chemistry between Goodman, Buscemi, and Bridges is SO priceless. Sadly, I think the Coen Bros went kinda downhill after that. IMHO "Barton Fink" is still their best work, though really REALLY uncomfortable to watch (in a One Hour Photo kinda way)

  • I have to agree with your list. I still haven't seen "Something About Mary" but all my friends loved it. I'd put Shawn of the Dead and maybe Hot Fuzz in place of one or two, but I really REALLY love "The Holy Grail" -- the BEST! :)

  • I have atually seen some of your choices, but I don't get to see many movies anymore these days... My all-time favorite is "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World."

  • your most welcome. i enjoy watching your videos.

  • my favourite comedies are without a doubt EVERYTHING from the marx brothers and monty python - fathers of comedy - but a lot more too of course. but these are just too great for words

  • @littlemissmello I could never get into the Marx Brothers, but I certainly respect what they did for comedy.

  • I know George Harrison funded the life of Brian, I never knew he funded the holy grail too? :p

You need to see the big lebowski! Very funny film and you can get it on DVD relatively cheaply now!

  • @ClaudioSanchezCC Oops...I am wrong... First time ever! :P

  • @canadianstudmuffin I'll write that on my C.V that i proved you wrong! :P

  • @ClaudioSanchezCC I was so perfect until that mistake... :D

  • great video. ill do a video response tomorrow for you.

  • @deanomac24 Thanks very much.

  • Mel Brooks a few of his: Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles and History Of The World

  • @vkdee44 Yes, Young Frankestein is great, but I have not seen the other movies yet...

  • I love best in show and a mighty ind but I didn't like waiting for guffman for all the crudeness :/

  • Loved your picks, The rabbit scene was the best, a few id pick, this is spinal tap, dumb & dumber, i love you phillip morris, the wrong guy, its a gift, duck soup, the hard way, secret admire, loaded weapon, dracula dead and loving it. ect ect

  • @hardbannockmusic Thanks Verno! :)

  • Now for my review of the 5 hour cut of the dear hunter... I woke up and it was still on... I took a piddle and it was still on... I talked on skype forever and it was still on... Then it was over and I was glad...

  • @AxeMoose The Dear Hunter is a classic comedy video!!! :P

  • How weird is that? I was watching dumb & dumber earlier today and you talk about it in a video.

  • Showing off a little cleavage there, are we? :D

I'm too lazy to do a video response. Then again, maybe I will. Who knows?

Don't see Dumb and Dumber 2. BIG waste of time.

    LOVE A Christmas Story!

Nice list. I agree with most of the movies listed here.

  • @journeysoflifevlogs Cleavage to get more views... :D

  • Planes, Trains and Automobiles!

  • @Snowking587 ...a classic! :)

  • napolean dynamite is a must see

  • @someone6878 Not my favorite, but a great comedy movie for sure.

  • 39th

  • Everyone on the list was funny, but there are so many more.

  • jeez... what a hard list :| let see --> "Groundhog Day"; "It's a mad mad mad mad world" "La grande vadrouille" (classic french comedy); "Dr. Strangelove"; "Little Shop of Horrors" (both versions ;); "Big Lebowski" "Tampopo" (cult japanese film) "Harvey"; "The Mask"; "Kin-dza-dza" (cult russian comedy); "Blazing Saddles"
  • My top 10 are all Jim Carrey movies. 1. The Mask (First movie I seen and still all time fav.) 2. Ace Ventura 3. Liar Liar 4. Once Bitten (Older Jim Carrey Movie) 5. The Grinch (Can't find my copy *sad face*) 6. The Trueman Show (Was meant to be a serious role but ended up being funny.) 7. The Cable Guy (Said to be his worst movie but I thought 23 was the worst.) 8. Bruce Almighty 9. Fun with Dick and Jane (I know this was a remake, I actually have both versions on DVD.) 10. Dumb and Dumber
  • @RialVestro ...not a bad list at all... :)

  • Dude....you are missing an awesome movie!!!

  • @lastcallbeam Probably...

  • The second movie was a prequel and was called Dumb and Dumberer it's basically the exact same plot as the first movie except it takes place at a high school. The actors do a really great job of portraying a young Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. I originally didn't want to see it for the same reason but someone bought it for me and the new actors really weren't bad. Just the plot was really bad and makes it not really worth watching. And I'm a HUGE Jim Carrey fan so that means a lot coming from me.

  • Have not seen "Waiting for Guff" I loved "Best In Show" and "A Mighty Wind". "Something About Mary" so wrong it's right you made some good choices. Honerable mentions to "A Fish Called Wander", "Airplane", "Oh brother where art thou", "Some Like it Hot".

  • @cheekychickenhead You will love "Waiting For Guffman", as it is as funny if not funnier than the other two movies. His last movie "For Your Consideration" I really did not care for though...

  • Meet the Fockers is a favorite movie of ours. We just watched the one when Bob divorces the father's daughter. It was hilarious. The John Candy movie we absolutely love is "Uncle Buck" :)

  • nice list..there are so many...Dumb and Dumber was very funny. Part 2 wasn't good. Nutty Professor will Eddie Murphy..LOL. White Chicks, very funny. Ruthless People was funny...so many

  • My youngest son loves Jim Carrey movies. Dumb and Dumber is one of his favorites too.

  • great pics. I love meet the parents!

  • Good choices! I've seen all of them and Dumb and Dumber is one of my favorites of all time. The big lebowski is really funny though, I must of seen it about 50 times and its prob the most quotable movie ever xD

  • Tangled? I'm willing to listen to Aladdin, but Tangled?

    ===

The Big Lebowski is definitely a good movie. However, it might be hard for it to live up to its superstar status if you go into it with too great of expectations.

  • @bowlingballout Yes, Tangled. I am not a Disney fan...and I thought it was going to be a girly movie (and maybe it was) but it was very well done and funny as hell.

  • @canadianstudmuffin

I haven't seen it... my prejudices are showing.

    XD

  • @bowlingballout I think you and Gracie would love it. Honest!

  • Great Video Larry yea I love that movie Dumb And Dumber i could watch it over time and time again just so funny :) I might make a video.R. Austin powers yes one of my top 10 favourite movies of all time. Well Larry good video love your vids

  • Not enough space to list all of mine. I could go on and on about comedy movies and even TV shows. You should see my DVD collection! :P

  • GREAT list!! Dumb And Dumber is great! Ive seen it so many times! When I think Jim Carrey I think D&D

I love/have all 3 Austin Powers (just watched the 1st one the other day too) and Mike Myers' Wayne's World

I also love John Candy-Planes Trains & Automobiles, Uncle Buck, Great Outdoors with Dan Aykroyd

^those are probably my top 3 Canadian Comedians/actors. Meet the Parents is hilarious! I really liked this past summer's Horrible Bosses and last summer's Dinner for Schmucks

    Vry littl comnt spac

  • when you talk about monty python. Is that the great britsh comedy of hugh laurie, rowan atkinson and the great stephen Fry

  • Have you ever seen Smokey and the Bandit? Deffinately one of my favorite comedies.

  • One of my favorites is "The Burbs" with Tom Hanks and Canadian funny man Rick Ducommun.

  • my favorite is THE MASK!

  • Great choices Larry. For me I would go with in no particular order. Monty Python Life of Brian, Dumb and Dumber, Waynes World, National Lampoons European Vacation, Hot Shots, Airplane, Top Secret, Beverly Hills Cop, Mr. Deeds, Mrs Doubtfire

  • @markasomerville Yes, Top Secret is one of the best. Fans of "Airplane" would love that one! I sort of forgot about it... :P

  • Oh..Blazing Saddles just about the funniest ever !!!!!

  • Yeah Larry, I would recommend seeing the Big Lebowski. It was good. Because I'm fascinated with religion, my favorite comedy movie is Dogma. I like most of the comedies that Kevin Smith made, although obviously they can be pretty dirty and kinda stupid.

  • The Big Lebowski is really great.

Very good selections by the way.

  • @sparky1728b Thanks. I do want to see that movie sometime. I have a feeling I will like it...

  • the Anvil movie was the best rock doc of all time. I'm with you on all your choices, but the movie I've watched more than any other movie is - Blazing Saddles, I'm a big Mel Brooks fan..

  • @THESURREALHIPPIE I have yet to see "Blazing Saddles", although I bought it on DVD a couple of weeks ago. I just never got around to seeing it...yet. My wife also says it is great. Thanks.

  • Thank you so much for mentioning Monty Python, but where is Waynes World?!?

  • @Rytyfe Just not in my top ten list, but it is a funny movie for sure.

  • ohhhhh man airplane lol

  • @kellyn74 Yes, Airplane is great!

  • Hard day nights

  • @gunsnrosesrocks877 Beatles humor for the win!. :D
