Also for the kikory/ makar the deku also says that link reminds him of the oringinal hero of time because hey saw him many years ago (hint hint at the end of Oot the deku sprout)

I grew up without video games until I was 4 that was when I got my first video game system the GC then I got the game boy when I got my first zelda it was the collectors edition and I always loved OOT and MM but I also loved WW to me thay are all great they all had that amazement feeling but I would say my complete fav. was OOT one the most classic zelda games even. even the 3ds edition keept that feeling when playing. but that is just MY opinion.

Out of every zelda game, this is most certainly the best. I've played through 9 of the 14 in the series, but this absolutely tops them all. A solid story line, great boss fights, and very unique items. These are what make this game better than all the rest. WINDWAKER FTW!

Ocarina of Time will always be a classic and it set the bar for many future Zelda releases but I would be lying if I said that it's still the best Zelda game in my opinion. Although great at the time, I find the battle system mediocre and the story to be lacking of any real depth. Also it's hard to want to be a completionist in it since it is quite easy to beat the game without getting that many pieces of heart. Though I will always love pulling out and putting back in the Master Sword. ^_^
@low1ryda I don't know if anyone else has responded to this but, I feel that OOT had one of the more deep stories in the series.
To me, it was about growing up and change. For example, how Kakariko was burning when Link sees it as an adult. Everywhere Link goes there is some sort of change there.
Or it's just my OOT bias talking, because that game was my childhood. In cartridge form.

Who the fuck is Fado? Shouldn't Saria be the sage of the "Wind Temple" I mean they kind of had a dead give away that "Laruto" was indeed Princess Ruto from Ocarina of Time.
Saria was sage of the Forest Temple, a completely different temple all together, Ruto was sage of the Water Temple, once again, a completely different temple from the Earth Temple. The Wind and Earth temples were houses so the sages of those temples could maintain the power of the Master Sword. Laruto is possibly a descendant of Ruto, Fado could be a descendant of Saria or just another Kokiri, it's never made clear.

What do they do when they are left in the temple to pray? there is no food or water, no bathrooms, and the only thing to do is sit there and wish you left with link while you starve to death!
GameCube was such a powerful and amazing console full of games like this one, this is a truly epic game, I felt like a child again while playing this game, and that is good. I've played every single Zelda game, and all of them are brilliant, but this one, it's perfect. The music, the story, the art style... It's the best Zelda there is, and one of the finest games ever made.

(wierd)... and that is not princess ruto AT ALL... it is laruto (okay the name bears some similarities...) , the zora sage. she is probably one of princess rutos descendants... (wierd that both saria and ruto were in love with link XD)
My theory is that great fish isle was home to the gorons or the their incarnations and that originally held the final the pearl, but Ganon destoyed it. You even do see the goron merchants scattered throughout the islands. The pearl was then taken back with Jabun to Outset for safety.
i think that zoras transformed into birds because they can live only in rivers and lakes, and there isn't any big river or lake for them to live.... so they transformed.
2)Korok were created when the Kokiri had to, technicly, leave the forest haven, as the floods brought them to sea when the NEW Great deku tree was still a sapling, keep in mind this game takes place 100s of years after oot. no idea where the Rito came from, other than they WERE RIVER Zoras and proboblay addapted to life in the AIR other than open sea, which I am assuming RIVER Zoras cannot surrive in.

The Wind Waker is one of the best Zelda games. The graphics are absolutely stunning and the story is one of the greatest. The Triforce Quest is actually not the bad and the sailing is one of my favorite aspects. The music and gameplay are wonderful and the characters are unforgettable. If you don't have this game, don't listen to those that hate on this game, they're just close-minded jerks that are obsessed with their N64. This game is a must buy. =)

First of all, Medli is a RITO not a RUTO. Second, Makar is a KOROK, not a KOKIRI. Finally, the Rito evolved from the Zora, and the Koroks evolved from the Kokiri.

Yeah I just remembered doing those temples and I think you need some sorta weapon/item from Medli's temple that you have to use to get in Makar's temple. I'M GUESSING!!! but i'm pretty sure.
@low1ryda The only reason you can't do the temples out of order is that makar isn't practicing his music under the waterfall therefore you can't teach him the song and then you can't do the temple.
it doesnt work, makar will not be in the cave by the waterfall unless you have halfrestored the master sword :( so theres no way to do them the other order
@low1ryda That's right, you can't do the Wind Temple first. Makar won't be behind the waterfall playing his violin until you've completed the Earth Temple.

im playing spirit tracks i love toon link but i think it would be nice that wind waker, phantom hourgalss and spirit trakcs were more related like ocarina of time, majoras mask and twilight princess playing trough spirit trakcs make miss ganondorf and the master sword i like a lot phantom hourglass and ST but it would be nice to make it more related and i like that in wind waker is a little more related because the rest of the toon link saga is very weird, nice but i miss the old ones

I always thought it was weird that the Zoras (beings that can live in water) would evolve into winged creatures when the world was FLOODED. Lol

1) I love both
2)Korok were created when the Kokiri had to, technicly, leave the forest haven, as the floods brought them to sea when the NEW Great deku tree was still a sapling, keep in mind this game takes place 100s of years after oot. no idea where the Rito came from, other than they WERE RIVER Zoras and proboblay addapted to life in the AIR other than open sea, which I am assuming RIVER Zoras cannot surrive in.
zelda was inspired by Shigeru Miyamoto's time exploring the woods...

It was really weird for me when i found out the Kokiri had been turned into impish tree people.I was happy the Deku tree was back though.Very happy i didnt have to go inside him again...

The Wind Waker is one of the best Zelda games. The graphics are absolutely stunning and the story is one of the greatest. The Triforce Quest is actually not the bad and the sailing is one of my favorite aspects. The music and gameplay are wonderful and the characters are unforgettable. If you don't have this game, don't listen to those that hate on this game, they're just close-minded jerks that are obsessed with their N64. This game is a must buy. =)

First of all, Medli is a RITO not a RUTO. Second, Makar is a KOROK, not a KOKIRI. Finally, the Rito evolved from the Zora, and the Koroks evolved from the Kokiri.

1) I think the graphics were a great thing. they made the game fun but at time serious.
2) I do not realy know what the deal with Ruto or Kokiri was. They were kinda fun though.
3) The legend of Zelda games were by far the best games i have ever played and i play a lot of games :).

I don't think you can do the temples in reverse order. I remember trying once and it didn't work for some reason. Could someone confirm?

Yeah I just remembered doing those temples and I think you need some sorta weapon/item from Medli's temple that you have to use to get in Makar's temple. I'M GUESSING!!! but i'm pretty sure.

@low1ryda You need items from other temples. That's why you can't go out of order...not unless you use cheat codes.

@low1ryda The reason you can't complete the temples in reversed order is that you can't find makar unless you completed Medli's temple.

@low1ryda The only reason you can't do the temples out of order is that makar isn't practicing his music under the waterfall therefore you can't teach him the song and then you can't do the temple.

it doesnt work, makar will not be in the cave by the waterfall unless you have halfrestored the master sword :( so theres no way to do them the other order

@low1ryda That's right, you can't do the Wind Temple first. Makar won't be behind the waterfall playing his violin until you've completed the Earth Temple.

@low1ryda Cause it's in order, in any Zelda game (Twilight Princess) Can you do the Lava temple before Forest? (Ocarina of Time) Could you do the Shadow temple before water) the answer is because you just can't screw up the game like that

I was looking all OVER THE PLACE for Makar, but it ended up that you can't do the temples in any order, so I wasted a half-hour looking for a character that I wouldn't be able to find. When you go to the meeting spot where Makar usually is, nobody's there till after the Earth temple.

I think the Rito evolved from the Zora, as there is a lot of evidence to suggest it but unless the Godesses interefered i dont see how they could in such a short space of time. i assumed the koroks are some form of the kokiri but i dont know how or why.

im playing spirit tracks i love toon link but i think it would be nice that wind waker, phantom hourgalss and spirit trakcs were more related like ocarina of time, majoras mask and twilight princess playing trough spirit trakcs make miss ganondorf and the master sword i like a lot phantom hourglass and ST but it would be nice to make it more related and i like that in wind waker is a little more related because the rest of the toon link saga is very weird, nice but i miss the old ones
