I have an 84 Vanagon GL. My injectors are not atomizing and I get a studder at about 2000 RPMs. I have to build up the rev slowly and have to let the clutch out at 4000 RPMs, so is doesn't stall. Got any clues? I have all new parts. Even a rebuilt engine with all new seals and bearings.

I have heard of this modification, but have not attempted it. Did it help with the kangarooing?

Nice. You might also mention the 22 uF(?) capacitor between pin 2 and 4.
My DJ engines have never given me any problems after that tweak. (both tried 22 uF and 47uF)
I have used ordinary electrolytic capacitors and not tantalum type.
