The B&O Museum grounds really changed since I shot my WMRY 150th Anniversary video! Unless this is in a different place on the grounds from where I was. Wondering if WM F7 #236 might still be there.
@bullfrog1954 To the best of my knowledge, this is a replica that does not actually produce steam. It uses a smoke machine. There is a real working Thomas built by Strasburg RR and travels the country as well.
@fftombo94 In other words, this is a dummy, though I really hate using that term! But that's what they call an unpowered locomotive in HO scale. Still interesting-and great for kids. As far as Strasburg goes, I really would like them to run that LO&S motorcar they have-with me on it! Very familiar with the LO&S!
@bullfrog1954 Unfortunately yes, this appears to be a dummy. I am not very familiar with Strasburg equipment (aside from knowing that they built Thomas). I volunteer with passenger excursions in Phillipsburg, NJ and during July, Thomas (the working one) is there pulling excursions along with our steam engine (NYSW #142)
@Xxslayer410xX They know Thomas from the crazy over-the-top modern TV series. Not from the Rev. W Awdry's great Railway Series or the original 1980's-1990's TV series with Ringo Starr and George Carlin! That was the better Thomas!
