@larendor10 Excellent observation there Brother Larendor. Unfortunately, being the proud satanist that I am I can't bring myself to give a damn. Cheers.
@ItsCoreyLynxxYall Seriously man, stop presuming what I think about you. My opinion certainly is negative, but certainly not based on preconceptions. It's the disgraceful, self-righteous manner in which you talk to people. You aren't better than anyone else, you aren't special, and you certainly aren't a victim.
@larendor10 I don't recall talking as if I'm better than people. Perhaps my memory just isn't as up to date as it should be. If standing up for acceptance and social equality makes me a snob, then crown me queen. HAHAHA!
BTW, there is this group here in the US that you might be interested in. It's called the Westboro Baptist Church. I think you'd find that you fit in quite well there. Just a thought. =)
@ItsCoreyLynxxYall Those people are sick in the mind. You are also sick in the mind. You're just as militant as they are, yet you fail to recognise it.
Man, you're not worth it. You're the kind of guy who doesn't see anybody else's viewpoint but your own. Insult me all you want, but you'll look back on this when you're older and regret the way you talked to people. I feel sorry for you.
@larendor10 Thanks for the pity man. I sure do appreciate it. A homosexual satanist like myself should truly be checked for believing in peace and equality. I mean, who does that? Treating people who are different with respect? Nonsense!
Yo dickface, a dress code is a dress code. Doesn't matter about rights. If you work in an office, you don't fucking come along in a skirt and blouse, you wear a fucking suit. Same rules apply at a school with a dress code.
@larendor10 Yes brother Larendor. Your knowledge astounds me! Such a refreshing representation of the youth of America. The more people who know that women don't wear skirts and blouses in a professional office environment, the better. Wait...but don't women actually wear skirts and blouses in the office? A perplexing thought indeed. Perhaps you could further enlighten me.
@ItsCoreyLynxxYall It was implicit i was discussing men in that situation. Twisting words is the lowest form of response in argument. Make a legitimate point, or get out, fuckface. Interestingly, i'm from the UK, and we have uniform in schools until you reach college; shit like this doesn't happen around here. (which in England, is the final two years of high school.) It's not suppression of rights, it's cold hard fact - a dress code is a dress code, if a kid wants to express, do it elsewhere.
I really couldn't care less about British schools. However, I'm sure that a male student who wanted to identify as trans wouldn't have a problem winning their case in the UK. Your country is after all a bit more liberal about these things than the US.
So a straight boy wishing to express his heritage and wear his flag is a racist. Still kids go to school to learn that why they have something called a dress code
Nope. He has a right to express his heritage and if a student was pressured or forced to leave their school because of a confederate flag then I'd support him just like I did Jonathan. If they say they aren't racist then they aren't racist. I don't believe that all people who display southern heritage are racist.
Come on really. A kid goes to school to learn not to express his her sexuality. I have seen kids get in trouble for wearing a shirt with a rebel flag. He wasn't racist it was his heritage. Fags get over yourselves your no better than any other American
So a student who wishes to better themselves with an education, who happens to cross dress, is automatically a snob who thinks they are better than everyone else? Interesting theory. I've never thought of it that way.
Government schools have a distinct purpose: to prepare you to work for others.
Southern government schools specialize in getting kids to fill up the ranks of sports teams and the US military. Thus, they have created a macho culture for the males. Anything contrary to that is not allowed.
That is an interesting but untrue theory. My high school, which was in an even more rural part of Georgia further from atlanta offered a variety of arts and business management programs. We had maybe 10 out of 1,3000 students in ROTC. It was tiny. Most guys at my school grew up to work in corner offices at banks or other accounting firms in Athens or Atlanta. Either that or agriculture.
You're actually quite wrong. The administration crossed the line when they stated "dress more manly or go home". That is a violation of constitutional rights. Yes even minors under 18 are protected by the constitution. Don't believe me? Do your research. Jonathan was not distracting other students from their right to an education anymore than a blonde cheerleader with big boobs would. We aren't talking about nudity, we're talking about harmless self expression that was repressed by ignorance.
If it means anything, I have talked to someone who graduated from NCHS and went back to talked to the school officials along with some of his graduating class. They told him plainly that they didnt care what Jonathan wore but he couldn't wear girl clothes.
If they told him he could not wear girl clothes then they are completely contradicting themselves by claiming that they don't care what he wears. They simply discriminated against him by telling him to dress more manly or go home. No school staff member should ever tell a student something like that.
because my original intentions were not to come off as an asshole southern kid trying to say fuck homos but to be open minded and tell you what i thought but when i saw i wasnt gonna get you to understand that the information wasnt all given i got angry and said things i shouldnt have so i apologized and now ... im just gonna leave it alone takeing what i think about it and you can keep you sight on what you believe cause i just wanted people to be fully informed i have no problem with anyone
well.. i didnt mean to be mean to you i have no problem with him or you i just wish more information was given thanks for debating this with me and sorry for anything hurtful ive said
haha well its all good man i just wish homos could hold back all the emotion and look at things logicaly and see that the news is complete bullshit the kid got his 15 mins of fame everyone at the school hates him and he got his little spot light thing so i mean GREAT JOB for him but shit look at LOGICAL points rather then your EMOTIONAL side beacuse sir that wont get you farther then being a 25 year old homo living in a southern town wondering why no one likes him and he makes youtube videos all
Topics which stir passionate emotions such as outrage and frustration aren't easily held back especially when there is something to fight against. In this case we have a gender questioning student who was discriminated against and belittled just for being a human being who happens to be unique. He's a really great kid just look at his youtube and see for yourself. The news simply came to him got the story and published it. It's not only on tv it's on hundreds of independent blogs as well.
I will agree with you in saying good job for him being in the spotlight. I am proud of any gay, lesbian or cross dressing individual who speaks out and makes their story heard. This raises awareness and makes people think which is the spark that lights the fire of progress. As I've stated before, bigotry isn't limited to the south. There are coal towns in PA and rural communities in upstate NY that make Kennesaw look like West Hollywood. Trust me on that.
I also find it curious who you have changed your attitude during our entire conversation. At first you seemed to be at least reaching out with an open mind stating "the main thing about it is dont get me wrong i have no problem with people dressing how they want to dress as long as your attitude isnt getting the in way" then you suddenly started spouting off homophobic rhetoric. Why the change of heart?
im not getting worked up cause i want to "win" lol but more or so you give people all the information so they can get there own conclusion from all the information rather then from a gayass homo FUCK who wants to say that hes mad people arnt accepting him remember you live in the south
Oh wow you're dishing out the homo insults now. Real mature guy. That really goes to show that I'm dealing with a really ignorant kid. Congratulations for proving that Kennessaw is a backwoods redneck town full of conservative hate, bigotry and just downright stupidity. It doesn't matter where you live buddy. Do your research and look at how many hate crimes happen in NYC, LA and Canada then tell me that my place of birth has anything to do with it.
didnt even know the damn highschool all you are doing is takeing the word of a pissed of kid who got kicked out of the school and called the news you have NOT TALKED TO the SCHOOL
I dont need to know anything about North Cobb High despite that fact that 3 of my gay friends graduated from there. I know all I need to know because I've spoken with Jonathan personally, I've viewed a variety of different articles and I've seen the public statement made by the school itself. I've used my own brain to draw logical and factual conclusions. It's funny how you're getting so worked up and pissed over this as if you could actually win this debate. Silly boy, hehe.
and the main thing about it is dont get me wrong i have no problem with people dressing how they want to dress as long as your attitude isnt getting the in way of the schools rules i mean the crossdressing wasnt the problem more or so the lack of respect and self control the kid had
sorry moron but the kid was a complete disrubtion at the school he went to going in the womens bathrooms and hitting admidistrators and i mean i live in the are i can walk to that school so i know really about the whole thing the kids a moron and im 17 im in highschool
How far have we come as a society ? obviously not far enough ! , LGBT issues & especially Trans-phobic , not just Cobb county , it's in and that way all mainstream Public Schools across USA.
you gotta realize that being MTF in anyway openly will never go without battles , we as an American society just are that way LGBT Phobic , as for me I support Transgender rights , as long as its lagit. in nature , if Johnathan is truly TG , then she should be supported via the community thier of :
Regardless this student was wrongfully discriminated against because of his gender expression. The schools resource officer which is supposed to be there to protect students was in on the deal where he was pulled out of class and told go be home schooled. Instead of dealing with the little homophobic cunts that started the fuss about him they blamed Jonathan. That's like blaming the hottest cheerleader for having big tits and making her feel she has to leave.
Also, I live in Cobb County. I've had a friends discriminated against. Hell, I've been told off about how I wear boy clothes once in my life. People who aren't from here, don't understand how "No homo" the community is over here. Even a straight-crossdresser causes an uproar. I guarantee you, if it was at my old h/s the same problem would have occured.
I forgot to mention: They didn't deny Jonathan an education. HE dropped out of school. He wanted to use the girls bathroom. They denied his request (because he has a penis). The provided another option (use the faculty bathroom). He refused! I think Jonathan is the one that has a problem with denying things. The problem is not the school. The problem is dad. Obviously you have the same problem.
Jonathan may have technically chose to withdraw from the school but it's the reason behind his actions which I find alarming. No school administrator has the right to tell somebody to dress more manly or be home-schooled. He was left with the decision to me a robot for the system or to stay true to himself. I think he made the right decision and will go far in life because of that.
THT. From your recent degrading comments to Corey, I'm going to assume you're a homophobic (no matter what you say) straight person, seeing as your comments make you seem that way. Also, you have nothing else to do with your life but bash individuals who have a higher intelligence, creativity, and a much more open mind than you. With that said before I rip you apart more, the fact that he had to withdraw to be himself is ridiculous. Corey, you got it right, don't worry.
I wonder if this guy does a better job at holding his boyfriend than he does at holding the camera? Dude, keep the camera still...you are making me sick. Well it could be you disturbing lisp that is making me sick. Anyway, I cut the vid short either way.
Well TellHonestTruth the first thing is that nobody forced you to watch this. Second, I don't have a boyfriend but even if I did why are you concerning yourself with my potential physical interactions with another male?
That is both immature and insane. There are thousands of gay people in the world so no matter where you live your kids are always playing nearby a gay individual. If you think that's bad then tell it to a loving gay couple who adopts kids and ask how things are going in their household.
You forgot to add the apostrophe in the word "you're" sweety! Oh and as far as me being retarded, yeah who are you to judge my intelligence when you're ignorant enough to call me a cigarette?
No, actually your very wrong. I'm a senior and going to be going to Georgia Tech. That's a rather faroff track from "Dropout" i must say. what's your input on that one my friend?
Your grammatical skills sucked on your first comment. Good to see you've cleaned things up a bit. Now I am curious about your usage of the word "accepted". Are you saying that GLBT students shouldn't be accepted. Perhaps you're referring to a gender questioning student. Either way I'd sure hope that a future college grad wouldn't hold such a bigoted mentality.
this is youtube buddy, not an essay. and talk about obsess your the one analyzing every little part of my sentences.. and talk about needing to get a life, your the one making these dumb videos and ranting on stuff you dont even know the facts on! haha i love it.
I don't need to be told what website I am using. I'm well aware of that fact but you are still vulnerable to my criticism when commenting on my videos. If you think my videos are so dumb then explain why you waste time attempting to debate me and/or watch me.
I see you removed your comment stating that you are tired of hearing from the gay community. You know there is a reason why you hear from our community. Look into it and open your eyes. If we didn't need to march for our equality and fight for justice then we wouldn't be doing but obviously there is much work to be done, especially since people with your mentality are going to be at colleges pretty soon with numerous gay and lesbian students, some of who cross the lines of gender norms.
with my mentality?! are you kidding me? just for your information i am not one bit against gays. i have a brother whos gay and two sisters who are lesbian . i support them 100% . i dont think its right for people to judge you guys to the extent at which they do. i think its very wrong. but what im saying is, you dont need to make a public outcry about every little thing. the govt rules are supreme and unfortunately theres not hardly anything we can do to change that. society is ignorant i agree
Well it's great that you're not against gays, I'm glad we're past that but to make a statement like that is pretty bold for somebody who is supposedly so supportive. A public outcry as you call it is sometimes necessary to get things done and to make progress. It doesn't happen silently in the night. People have to get loud and active about these kind of things.
LOL did you see the gray man's blazer Johnathan had on with the old lady's church hat and skin tight jeans? If you're gay you can wear anything that is obnoxious and blame it on the fact that you're gay and gay people will defend you. Wrap your body in aluminum foil and wear a top hat. Then say it's you expressing your sexuality. Look at him, he's wearing clothing that would be silly for even a girl his age to wear in school.
Yes while his fashion sense may seem a bit out of touch with the mainstream what I am defending is the right of an individual to be just that, an individual without persecution.
exactly seeprice.. if a normal boy walks into a girls bathroom he get's expelled.. but if the boy dresses up like a church lady.. it's okay.. and the gays still want more.
ohh and he wasn't "persecuted". where are you getting your facts from ??? he CHOSE to leave the school so before you make your rant videos get the facts straight otherwise you look retarded.
My statements may appear retarded from your perspective but what I am doing is simply standing up for an individual's right to express themselves as long as it does not infringe upon the rights of others. There is a reason he chose to leave that school and that reason is because of the intolerance that they showed him.
see there you are wrong again. He left not because of the intolerance, but for his safety. The administration allowed his clothing choice, and even told him he could use the faculty bathroom but instead he chose to use the girls bathroom. All the kids at the school were bullying him and trying to pick fights with him thats why he left, becuase he was getting threats from all the football players who every last one of them would do it. thats why he left. he had every right of all the other kids.
He left for his safety? His side of the story states otherwise. I know most of the details including that part about him being allowed to use the faculty restroom however it is also the school's responsibility to protect a student and he was wrongfully blamed for fights that were instigated by other students due to their own ignorance.
Also if the football players would have carried out their threats then why didn't they? They didn't thus proving their cowardly bullying was nothing more than talk. Why would anyone who is part of a team destroy their own lives by committing a hate crime and getting themselves arrested along with bad publicity? I think they are smart enough to know better than that.
right or wrong, i admire you for standing up for your beliefs. my heart is with jonathan; but as a former school secretary, i have seen what can happen to a jonathan.
i wish nothing but the best for him. remember, change starts one person at a time.
I believe that assaults on students for any reason should be treated as criminal offenses just as a robbery or murder would be. News coverage and everything but the normalization of such behavior allows it to manifest itself on campuses nationwide which is rather unfortunate if you ask me.
I went to high school in the 60's, in Texas, in a small town. We had a dress code in school; for girls- no pants, jeans or slacks & for boys- no hair touching the collars of shirts. Today, those dress codes are gone. Hopefully, in the future, these ridiculous codes will also be gone. But we still have Jonathan today who needs an education. The clothes are not a distraction it's just the reason the principal is using. When you're different those who oppose you will find a way. Stay strong.
He is not being denied an education. he CHOSE to withdraw from. he can express himself after school, on the weekend and during the summer.
He does not have the right to express his self in school. if a girl wanted to expess herself by wearing lingerie to school should that be accepted? or if a male wants to walk around topless all day should that be acceptable. that is what this is opening the door to. where will it stop? im 29 but i can see that kids' "expression"is going too far in school.
We all have rights...However, there is a particular dress code that is enforced while I am at work. I would love to dress otherwise, but I am an adult and had to make an adult decision. Everywhere you go, there are rules, in my opinion he denied HIMSELF an education. Just like if I choose to ignore dress code, I deny MYSELF work. ALL of us must abide in some way by society's expectations. I think he should reevalute for the sake of his education. I don't think there is homophobia in this case.
he has the right to education! he has a right to be himself. The only thing that would change that is if they had school uniforms, but they dont so therefor he has a right to dress how he wants as long as hes not hurting anyone then whats the problem?!
he was not forced ! Omg..I go to northcobb..he withdrew on his own..they said as long as he doesnt violate the school dress code he can stay.soo he withdrew on his own.
Corey Corey Corey, you inbred backwoods sad sack of shit.... nice to see you are still constantly making a fool out of yourself publicly. I meant to favorite your channel just so I could use it for a daily laugh. This kid you are talking about showed up to school wearing a pink wig. Wearing a pink wig has nothing to do with him being gay...that has to do with making a spectacle of himself. He was an attention whore...just like yourself. Has nothing to do with being gay... just being sad
This boy's outfit was way over the top. Or girl's.
If he really wanted to be feminine, then go on ahead. Just don't make a damn spectacle of yourself.
So are you for young girls expressing their sexuality by wearing lowcut skirts and jeans bearing thongs? Let's include 14yr olds, by the way. Let's even go lower. If these females from my highschool were sent back,he can be sent back.
Alright,Seriously, please stop talking about this,This poor kid,and our school, are so done. I`m a student at North Cobb High School, yes some people can be bitches but we aren't all like that, please understand most people at school love and support him and ACCEPT him.
Also please note your facts before saying this, the news messed it up and it is all wrong know one has the real story he wasn't forced or kicked out he simply dropped out.
first, I'm all for self expression, but you have details wrong. The problem w/ the way he dressed was not the fact he wanted to dress like a girl, it was that he wanted to wear costume type clothes like a pink wig, huge bows and hats at school which are against dress code. My third problem with him is that he used a girls restroom thinking that it would be okay "no one told [him] that [he] couldn't. Many girls find a guy, gay or not, in the bathroom alarming. He wasn't kicked out, he withdrew.
This guy is such an asshole that he moves out of his parents house to go live with his sister so he can dress like a woman. Dude, you're sister doesn't want you living with her either cause now shes got to pay for your food and shelter, she loses the privacy she had. He left the parents who birthed him, forced his sister to pick up the slack, all just to express the fact that he likes to get nailed in his butt and wishes he was a woman.
So who are you to make that judgement? His sister obviously doesn't have a problem with him or else she wouldn't have him live with her. Think about it. He has his reasons which I don't know and neither do you.
His sister moved out and got her own place for a reason. I bet he's not helping with the bills. She loses her privacy especially when he brings his friends over. Plus he's hurting his parents feelings by leaving them just so he can dress that way. I'd respect him more if he were an adult male living alone who walked into work like that risking his own job. But what he's doing is putting the burden on others. Even some guy fought someone for him because he didn't have the balls to fight himself.
And how would it be any different if he were living with his parents? The truth of the matter is it would be the same setup. Not only that but you don't even know these people and you're making blind judgements. He's a 16 year old kid, not a 30 year old accountant. The friend of his got into a scuffle due to the fact that somebody was making bad comments about him. The friend was offended and that's what started it, not because Jonathan needed somebody to fight for him.
Listen Corey, we are talking about a school where parents send their kids to learn and get an education so that they can be productive citizens when they get older. This kid obviously has no intention on learning anything. All he wants to do is force kids in his school to see him dressed up as a girl and for people to stare at him and want to be friends with him or maybe be like him. He says its about gay civil rights but its really all about him. "It's never what u do it's how it's done."
I don't think we're connecting here at all, or at least you're failing to fully comprehend what I'm saying and respond accordingly. You are making statements that don't even make sense. They would make sense of they were actually true but you're throwing out random ideas and judgements that are anything but correct. I almost want to make a video just for you.
Jonathan's concern for his own sexual self-gratification has nothing to do with education. His transvestism fetish is in total conflict with any form of education.
So this is not even an issue of homosexuality or the non-existent "homophobia", as much as it is the protection of the school, the faculty, and especially the other fellow students. The fact that a school HAS a playground does NOT justify making it a playground for cruising and potential prostitution.
Keep in mind that I said "POTENTIAL prostitution". I'm not saying that Jonathan IS a prostitute (now). However, as you should very well know, male transvestites (in ALL categories) are the most common of male homosexuals who either engage or are most likely to engage in prostitution.
Consider the fact that Jonathan said that he couldn't be in a school that won't allow him to crossdress? Who's to say he WON'T prostitute himself there?
You did nevertheless use the word prostitution when it is entirely inappropriate to even suggest it as a future outcome. I think it's also important to remember how many girls slut around in school, even with male teachers. Yuck! I don't see you discussing that though. You're only trying to make him look bad because you're so against homosexuality.
Dude, suggesting that the kid is going to be a prostitute in the future is a little far fetched. There are a thousand different possibilities for everybody including yourself. You could someday become a bank robber or drug dealer, it's theoretically a possibility but I am not going to use that against you because it's an unlikely scenario. See what I mean? Possible but unlikely. He's obviously a teenager, look at the news report done by Channel 2 in Atlanta. He's 16.
Well considering the fact that you're supposedly a virgin you sure are interested in my asshole. Come out of the closet already bro. We'll all be here for you.
Amazing, the second we say this is wrong, we are called a homophobe. Oh, it always worked to attack a small sourthern town when defending this behavior.
You're not getting it. They didn't kick him out for just wearing female clothes. They kicked him out because he was a distraction and in this case he was. The school tolerated him until the fight came up because of him and probably other things happening in class. So i stand with Cobb County on this.
I watched the video but i still think we're still at a disagreement. But I'm not against the cross dressing but it was still in Cobby County's handbook before the student arrived stating: a student will not be allowed to dress in any way that would be disruptive in a classroom. But thats all i have to say. Your opinion is yours and mine is mine. I just people are making it more complicated than it really is.
it has taken me many, many years, and I am not that happy at my conclusion....but people in this country have "far too many rights" to the point where we are in country-wide chaos and disruption
to mafra61: I don't think you understand how "out of control" American public schools are.....we have become the "dunce" of the developed world. The teachers unions make impossible to fire a bad teacher, there is no dicipline in the class rooms, 12 year olds are toting guns and drugs to school, shooting rampages in the schools, teachers being assaulted.....it stems from a slow systematic decline if dicipline and uniform standards of accepted behavior
nice comment. may i add that GWBush was taking away our rights and no one said a word.
public schools do not teach car theft, murder, robbing or stealing. most of public education problems walk in the doors from a home where the above behaviours are acceptable.
The issue here as that this kid violated the girls in his schools privacy when he intruded on their bathroom, then compromised his classmates right to an education by wearing a massive and distracting pink wig. What is more important, guaranteeing every student is able to study and learn in a safe, distraction free environment or letting one student perform his "art".
The kid just wanted attention. In case y'all didn't know, the first thing he did after he withdrew was to call the TV stations.
Wow, I always had a gut feeling he was simply attention whoring..I need to do more reasearch on this story to verify. Please,Corey. There are plenty of gay males who enjoy acting and looking feminine in highschool, and get away with it because of subtlety. Sure I would be like "Ok..male with lipstick", but I would move on.This child was a walking 90's movie and he expected to be of no disturbance? Why does being flamboyant validate your sexuality? Is it really needed to express yourself everywhere?
abracadabra970, if you are going to be picky about word usage you should have caught "principle". The correct word is "principal". Correct everything or nothing.
make them wear uniforms and no one will have to worry about what kids wearing to school. Where my kids go to school they made the news because some kid wore a white t shirt and they said it was underwear and sent him home. It caused a protest. I saw a girl wearing a belly shirt. I don't care if its about cross dressing, white t shirts, kid showing up in cannibal corpse t shirt.
Jon is just like the gothic kids only he is wearing fem clothes they are in school where you are not suppose to be creative or expressive. Its all about test scores and football. So make them wear uniforms. This is what school is. If this kid was in New York or California this would never made news.
If it's causing fights then the student who was bigoted enough to instigate such a quarrel is the one who needs the boot! Simple as that. Don't tell me to shut my pie hole either because I will continue to upload videos voicing my opinion as I see fit. You understand me? Don't like it? Don't watch it! There is an organ under your skull that does amazing things, I suggest you start using it.
Jonathan clothes didnt cause the fight so he shouldnt be indirectly punished for some idiot's actions....that student needs anger management skills and should be suspended and force to attend anger manangement class at his parent expense then maybe he wont be so move to violence when he making rude comments about someone friend's style of dress.
Our forefathers wore wigs? ha ha ha .That was because it was the 1700's. Not because they were flamboyant faggots, you are missing the point. So it is ok to run around with your dick and balls hanging out just cause the greeks did it? Or to throw your feces and urine out on the street cause people did it in the middle ages? You are the one who needs an education my friend. Maybe you are getting distracted with this kind of idiocy and you don't have time to learn. See what this does to you?.
Look no 1 is denying his education. In life there are rules which need 2 be followed. If he does not want to comply with it, then you heard D choice he made openly. What happen 2 values & morals. Being gay & or a lesbian is wrong in d eyes of God. I do not need sin 2 challenge my mind. I have no homophobia of gays 4 no 1 is born dat way. I stand firm on my belief & 1 day everyone will have 2 give an account based on a mindset or choice a person choose 2 live whether right or wrong. Judge yourself!
Well I have notting to prove to you for it's your choice. But the day will come when you'll breathe your last breath & you'll see who will be in front of you & who'll you'll answer to. God bless!
Homophobic comment? Anytime anyone says anything against homosexuals they are branded as homophobic, which implies a fear of homosexuals. I have no fear. A Sodomite according to the Bible is an abomination. But before you twinkle toes get your panties in a wad understand this, according to the Bible, a person who eats pork is also an abomination. I agree with both. It is what it is. I speak now using my First Amendment rights. You don't have to like it or agree. Gay = sick abomination. Repent.
thats rude and discusting of you! you have no tact! your probably some broke down back wood hillbilly, and why does every gay person have to be a 'twinkle toe' as you referred to, there are many vvvery manly gay people, gay people come in every shape, size, and colour, just like anyone else!
We should be able to dress however we wish to dress!we should be able to have our own lifes..im sick of being controlled by the school districts and everybody.if someone wants to be different, than they should go for it! this should be illegal! we shouldnt have to change who we are for someone else. and people keep on sayin that we go to school to learn and with people like jonathan, we are.people need to learn that its okay.
Backwoods rednecks? Boy I'd whoop your ass.

Grow up.

Grow up.
larendor10 1 month ago
@larendor10 Yes brother Larendor. Your knowledge astounds me! Such a refreshing representation of the youth of America. The more people who know that women don't wear skirts and blouses in a professional office environment, the better. Wait...but don't women actually wear skirts and blouses in the office? A perplexing thought indeed. Perhaps you could further enlighten me.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 1 month ago
@ItsCoreyLynxxYall It was implicit i was discussing men in that situation. Twisting words is the lowest form of response in argument. Make a legitimate point, or get out, fuckface. Interestingly, i'm from the UK, and we have uniform in schools until you reach college; shit like this doesn't happen around here. (which in England, is the final two years of high school.) It's not suppression of rights, it's cold hard fact - a dress code is a dress code, if a kid wants to express, do it elsewhere.
larendor10 1 month ago
@larendor10 LOL! I'm a fuckface. Love it! =D

Still kids go to school to learn that why they have something called a dress code
abnerrose 2 years ago
Nope. He has a right to express his heritage and if a student was pressured or forced to leave their school because of a confederate flag then I'd support him just like I did Jonathan. If they say they aren't racist then they aren't racist. I don't believe that all people who display southern heritage are racist.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
Come on really. A kid goes to school to learn not to express his her sexuality. I have seen kids get in trouble for wearing a shirt with a rebel flag. He wasn't racist it was his heritage. Fags get over yourselves your no better than any other American
abnerrose 2 years ago
So a student who wishes to better themselves with an education, who happens to cross dress, is automatically a snob who thinks they are better than everyone else? Interesting theory. I've never thought of it that way.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
Government schools have a distinct purpose: to prepare you to work for others.
Southern government schools specialize in getting kids to fill up the ranks of sports teams and the US military. Thus, they have created a macho culture for the males. Anything contrary to that is not allowed.
LiveWisely 2 years ago
That is an interesting but untrue theory. My high school, which was in an even more rural part of Georgia further from atlanta offered a variety of arts and business management programs. We had maybe 10 out of 1,3000 students in ROTC. It was tiny. Most guys at my school grew up to work in corner offices at banks or other accounting firms in Athens or Atlanta. Either that or agriculture.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
correction* my school had around 1,300 students not 13,000.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
Do schools in other parts of the nation/world allow cross-dressing?
LiveWisely 2 years ago
Many do yes.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
School is not there for students to challenge peoples' minds.
Also, anything that causes enough distraction in school should be banned. That includes cross dressing, nudity, or even possibly dressing in tuxedos.
Sure students whose sexual orientation or personalities aren't mainstream have a right to an education, but not at the cost of other students' rights.
As this becomes more mainstream, it will be less of a distraction.
LiveWisely 2 years ago
You're actually quite wrong. The administration crossed the line when they stated "dress more manly or go home". That is a violation of constitutional rights. Yes even minors under 18 are protected by the constitution. Don't believe me? Do your research. Jonathan was not distracting other students from their right to an education anymore than a blonde cheerleader with big boobs would. We aren't talking about nudity, we're talking about harmless self expression that was repressed by ignorance.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
If it means anything, I have talked to someone who graduated from NCHS and went back to talked to the school officials along with some of his graduating class. They told him plainly that they didnt care what Jonathan wore but he couldn't wear girl clothes.
blackballer245 2 years ago
If they told him he could not wear girl clothes then they are completely contradicting themselves by claiming that they don't care what he wears. They simply discriminated against him by telling him to dress more manly or go home. No school staff member should ever tell a student something like that.

88Remedy 2 years ago
Topics which stir passionate emotions such as outrage and frustration aren't easily held back especially when there is something to fight against. In this case we have a gender questioning student who was discriminated against and belittled just for being a human being who happens to be unique. He's a really great kid just look at his youtube and see for yourself. The news simply came to him got the story and published it. It's not only on tv it's on hundreds of independent blogs as well.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
I will agree with you in saying good job for him being in the spotlight. I am proud of any gay, lesbian or cross dressing individual who speaks out and makes their story heard. This raises awareness and makes people think which is the spark that lights the fire of progress. As I've stated before, bigotry isn't limited to the south. There are coal towns in PA and rural communities in upstate NY that make Kennesaw look like West Hollywood. Trust me on that.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
I also find it curious who you have changed your attitude during our entire conversation. At first you seemed to be at least reaching out with an open mind stating "the main thing about it is dont get me wrong i have no problem with people dressing how they want to dress as long as your attitude isnt getting the in way" then you suddenly started spouting off homophobic rhetoric. Why the change of heart?
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago

I've used my own brain to draw logical and factual conclusions. It's funny how you're getting so worked up and pissed over this as if you could actually win this debate. Silly boy, hehe.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
and the main thing about it is dont get me wrong i have no problem with people dressing how they want to dress as long as your attitude isnt getting the in way of the schools rules i mean the crossdressing wasnt the problem more or so the lack of respect and self control the kid had

I guarantee you, if it was at my old h/s the same problem would have occured.
floeticone14 2 years ago
I forgot to mention: They didn't deny Jonathan an education. HE dropped out of school. He wanted to use the girls bathroom. They denied his request (because he has a penis). The provided another option (use the faculty bathroom). He refused! I think Jonathan is the one that has a problem with denying things. The problem is not the school. The problem is dad. Obviously you have the same problem.
TellHonestTruth 2 years ago
Jonathan may have technically chose to withdraw from the school but it's the reason behind his actions which I find alarming. No school administrator has the right to tell somebody to dress more manly or be home-schooled. He was left with the decision to me a robot for the system or to stay true to himself. I think he made the right decision and will go far in life because of that.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago

ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
with my mentality?! are you kidding me? just for your information i am not one bit against gays. i have a brother whos gay and two sisters who are lesbian . i support them 100% . i dont think its right for people to judge you guys to the extent at which they do. i think its very wrong. but what im saying is, you dont need to make a public outcry about every little thing. the govt rules are supreme and unfortunately theres not hardly anything we can do to change that. society is ignorant i agree
atlskater07 2 years ago
Well it's great that you're not against gays, I'm glad we're past that but to make a statement like that is pretty bold for somebody who is supposedly so supportive. A public outcry as you call it is sometimes necessary to get things done and to make progress. It doesn't happen silently in the night. People have to get loud and active about these kind of things.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
LOL did you see the gray man's blazer Johnathan had on with the old lady's church hat and skin tight jeans? If you're gay you can wear anything that is obnoxious and blame it on the fact that you're gay and gay people will defend you. Wrap your body in aluminum foil and wear a top hat. Then say it's you expressing your sexuality. Look at him, he's wearing clothing that would be silly for even a girl his age to wear in school.

ohh and he wasn't "persecuted". where are you getting your facts from ??? he CHOSE to leave the school so before you make your rant videos get the facts straight otherwise you look retarded.
atlskater07 2 years ago 3
My statements may appear retarded from your perspective but what I am doing is simply standing up for an individual's right to express themselves as long as it does not infringe upon the rights of others. There is a reason he chose to leave that school and that reason is because of the intolerance that they showed him.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
see there you are wrong again. He left not because of the intolerance, but for his safety. The administration allowed his clothing choice, and even told him he could use the faculty bathroom but instead he chose to use the girls bathroom. All the kids at the school were bullying him and trying to pick fights with him thats why he left, becuase he was getting threats from all the football players who every last one of them would do it. thats why he left. he had every right of all the other kids.
atlskater07 2 years ago
He left for his safety? His side of the story states otherwise. I know most of the details including that part about him being allowed to use the faculty restroom however it is also the school's responsibility to protect a student and he was wrongfully blamed for fights that were instigated by other students due to their own ignorance.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
Also if the football players would have carried out their threats then why didn't they? They didn't thus proving their cowardly bullying was nothing more than talk. Why would anyone who is part of a team destroy their own lives by committing a hate crime and getting themselves arrested along with bad publicity? I think they are smart enough to know better than that.

nothing legally. too many people mistake cross-dressing with being gay. they are two separate issues, as i'm sure you know.
people who don't follow the crowd sometimes suffer dearly for being "different". not wrong; just different.
my gay nephew was pushed over a third-floor railing during class change; and that wasnt the worst thing to happen to him.

Stay strong.
efzapp 2 years ago
He is not being denied an education. he CHOSE to withdraw from. he can express himself after school, on the weekend and during the summer.
He does not have the right to express his self in school. if a girl wanted to expess herself by wearing lingerie to school should that be accepted? or if a male wants to walk around topless all day should that be acceptable. that is what this is opening the door to. where will it stop? im 29 but i can see that kids' "expression"is going too far in school.
SEEPRICE 2 years ago
We all have rights...However, there is a particular dress code that is enforced while I am at work. I would love to dress otherwise, but I am an adult and had to make an adult decision. Everywhere you go, there are rules, in my opinion he denied HIMSELF an education. Just like if I choose to ignore dress code, I deny MYSELF work. ALL of us must abide in some way by society's expectations. I think he should reevalute for the sake of his education. I don't think there is homophobia in this case.
honeyhued08 2 years ago

Itsonlyapapercut 2 years ago
first, I'm all for self expression, but you have details wrong. He wasn't kicked out, he withdrew.
mgnkriss 2 years ago 2
This guy is such an asshole that he moves out of his parents house to go live with his sister so he can dress like a woman. Dude, you're sister doesn't want you living with her either cause now shes got to pay for your food and shelter, she loses the privacy she had. He left the parents who birthed him, forced his sister to pick up the slack, all just to express the fact that he likes to get nailed in his butt and wishes he was a woman.
HipHopCoffeeLover 2 years ago
So who are you to make that judgement? His sister obviously doesn't have a problem with him or else she wouldn't have him live with her. Think about it. He has his reasons which I don't know and neither do you.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
His sister moved out and got her own place for a reason. I bet he's not helping with the bills. She loses her privacy especially when he brings his friends over. Plus he's hurting his parents feelings by leaving them just so he can dress that way. I'd respect him more if he were an adult male living alone who walked into work like that risking his own job. But what he's doing is putting the burden on others. Even some guy fought someone for him because he didn't have the balls to fight himself.
HipHopCoffeeLover 2 years ago
And how would it be any different if he were living with his parents? The truth of the matter is it would be the same setup. Not only that but you don't even know these people and you're making blind judgements. He's a 16 year old kid, not a 30 year old accountant. The friend of his got into a scuffle due to the fact that somebody was making bad comments about him. The friend was offended and that's what started it, not because Jonathan needed somebody to fight for him.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
Listen Corey, we are talking about a school where parents send their kids to learn and get an education so that they can be productive citizens when they get older. This kid obviously has no intention on learning anything. All he wants to do is force kids in his school to see him dressed up as a girl and for people to stare at him and want to be friends with him or maybe be like him. He says its about gay civil rights but its really all about him. "It's never what u do it's how it's done."
HipHopCoffeeLover 2 years ago
I don't think we're connecting here at all, or at least you're failing to fully comprehend what I'm saying and respond accordingly. You are making statements that don't even make sense. They would make sense of they were actually true but you're throwing out random ideas and judgements that are anything but correct. I almost want to make a video just for you.

Here's the deal.

The word prostitution doesn't belong here.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
How do you figure that, Corey?
Keep in mind that I said "POTENTIAL prostitution". I'm not saying that Jonathan IS a prostitute (now). However, as you should very well know, male transvestites (in ALL categories) are the most common of male homosexuals who either engage or are most likely to engage in prostitution.
Consider the fact that Jonathan said that he couldn't be in a school that won't allow him to crossdress? Who's to say he WON'T prostitute himself there?

FinalJusticeMovement 2 years ago
You did nevertheless use the word prostitution when it is entirely inappropriate to even suggest it as a future outcome. I think it's also important to remember how many girls slut around in school, even with male teachers. Yuck! I don't see you discussing that though. You're only trying to make him look bad because you're so against homosexuality.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
COREY:
"You did nevertheless use the word prostitution when it is entirely inappropriate to even suggest it as a future outcome."
>> 1) You cannot deny the possibility of such an outcome considering how consistent an element of homosexual life it is.
2) It's entirely inappropriate for Jonathan to act the way he did. His position isso cavalier, I doubt he's even a teenager.
And as far as ME making HIM look bad???
Look at him. I had nothing to do with it!
He did it all himself.

He's 16.

well you are the one that amazingly claimed that a social security card magically gives you the rights of an adult in the usa
inkey2 2 years ago
Yes but where did I ever suggest that the possession of a SSI card provided the right to purchase alcohol? The answer to that is nowhere.

I recommend viewing my follow up video that I posted as a video response. That may clear some things up.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago
I watched the video but i still think we're still at a disagreement. But I'm not against the cross dressing but it was still in Cobby County's handbook before the student arrived stating: a student will not be allowed to dress in any way that would be disruptive in a classroom. But thats all i have to say. Your opinion is yours and mine is mine. I just people are making it more complicated than it really is.

it has taken me many, many years, and I am not that happy at my conclusion....but people in this country have "far too many rights" to the point where we are in country-wide chaos and disruption
inkey2 2 years ago
With all respect I think the problems of the US
aren't caused by an overdose of individual rights
but an overdose of egoism and egocentrism and
a lack of tolerance.
Greetings from -as your former Minister of Defence labelled us- Old Europe :)

to mafra61: I don't think you understand how "out of control" American public schools are.....we have become the "dunce" of the developed world. The teachers unions make impossible to fire a bad teacher, there is no dicipline in the class rooms, 12 year olds are toting guns and drugs to school, shooting rampages in the schools, teachers being assaulted.....it stems from a slow systematic decline if dicipline and uniform standards of accepted behavior
inkey2 2 years ago
Sounds like you talk about the German school
system, too :)
I guess teachers at school should be qualified
to teach respect , act against any kind of violence
and as a role model for our way of living which
is based on democracy and human rights for
everybody.
mafra61 2 years ago
nice comment. may i add that GWBush was taking away our rights and no one said a word.
public schools do not teach car theft, murder, robbing or stealing. most of public education problems walk in the doors from a home where the above behaviours are acceptable.
stellahazel 2 years ago
The issue here as that this kid violated the girls in his schools privacy when he intruded on their bathroom, then compromised his classmates right to an education by wearing a massive and distracting pink wig. What is more important, guaranteeing every student is able to study and learn in a safe, distraction free environment or letting one student perform his "art".
The kid just wanted attention. In case y'all didn't know, the first thing he did after he withdrew was to call the TV stations.
gacrowe 2 years ago 2
Wow, I always had a gut feeling he was simply attention whoring..I need to do more reasearch on this story to verify. Please,Corey. There are plenty of gay males who enjoy acting and looking feminine in highschool, and get away with it because of subtlety. Sure I would be like "Ok..male with lipstick", but I would move on.This child was a walking 90's movie and he expected to be of no disturbance? Why does being flamboyant validate your sexuality? Is it really needed to express yourself everywhere?

I was one of the first students at North Cobb to go to the principle and other staff and confront them face to face about this.
My principle lied to us and told us that everything will be fine.
He especially informed my gay friend that everything would be fine and that he will continue going to school.
I am bi.
This greatly effects me.
I am too ashamed to go back to school.
I havent been back since friday.
I actually heard a teacher call him a freak, if he is i must be too.

abracadabra970, if you are going to be picky about word usage you should have caught "principle".

I don't care if its about cross dressing, white t shirts, kid showing up in cannibal corpse t shirt.
lokigotya68 2 years ago
Jon is just like the gothic kids only he is wearing fem clothes they are in school where you are not suppose to be creative or expressive. Its all about test scores and football. So make them wear uniforms. This is what school is. If this kid was in New York or California this would never made news.
lokigotya68 2 years ago
His behavior is causing a distraction and fights. In addition in this very video you said "I don't know what really happened."
Therefore, shut your gay pie hole!
TesticlesOfDoom 2 years ago 2
If it's causing fights then the student who was bigoted enough to instigate such a quarrel is the one who needs the boot! Simple as that. Don't tell me to shut my pie hole either because I will continue to upload videos voicing my opinion as I see fit. You understand me? Don't like it? Don't watch it! There is an organ under your skull that does amazing things, I suggest you start using it.
ItsCoreyLynxxYall 2 years ago

Repent.
hairmagic 2 years ago
why does gay = that?
thats rude and discusting of you! you have no tact! your probably some broke down back wood hillbilly, and why does every gay person have to be a 'twinkle toe' as you referred to, there are many vvvery manly gay people, gay people come in every shape, size, and colour, just like anyone else!

We should be able to dress however we wish to dress!we should be able to have our own lifes..im sick of being controlled by the school districts and everybody.if someone wants to be different, than they should go for it! this should be illegal! we shouldnt have to change who we are for someone else. and people keep on sayin that we go to school to learn and with people like jonathan, we are.people need to learn that its okay.
the bible is full of homosexuality!
