Megan Fox also is a smart and articulate girl, which you would know if you found out more about her. Talking about smartness - smart people don't swallow stereotypes. Rachel and Megan are both great, you don't have to put one of them down to compliment the other.

I was more stating my opinion than fact. I've seen Megan Fox in interviews and stuff and she just isn't my cup of tea. Personal preference. I do think she's a talented actress though I think she has been a bit too influenced by Hollywood, which sucks but I see it happen to a lot of celebrities. I just wish they could be okay with being themselves and not cover up their insecurities with oversexualizing themselves. It's like wasted potential. It just kinda makes me feel sorry for them.

As for sexualization, many starlets get lost in their sexpot image and I see why you might think this about Megan. But trust me - she is very different. She has a good head on her shoulders and is astutely self-aware. She consciously takes advantage of her sexiness and is empowered by it, but she doesn't let it define her. She seems determined to grow as an actor. Sure, most people see her just as a sex symbol so far, but there is a lot more to her if you are willing to see past the stereotype.

In general, Megan is very misunderstood. She is quirky, witty, neurotic, irreverent, which just doesn't fit the box of a sex symbol. She has a a dry sense of humour and most of what she says is tongue-in-cheek and sarcastic. This combination is all too hard to process and appreciate for stupid media, so they react in the only way they know - by stereotyping and ridiculing her even further.

was happy with this movie mainly because of all the fresh faces. rachael taylors first big film. megan fox in her first real role. not as fresh a face but still a very new and young face. shia labeauf in his first real big summer of film and his first big action film. and thenyou get the vets with voight and tuturo ect. great casting job.
