Pour is controlled using a sensor located at the top of the cup. That's how it knows how full the cup is. Its not timed.

Great idea. I see that the amounts of every liquid are controlled with how long the valve is pressed, but doesn't the level of liquid in the containers change the flow rate? But still awesome!

@charlyg12 They probably tested the amount of fluid that comes out per second and programmed it to hold down the button for a certain amount of time, being careful that it doesn't overflow. The cups are probably a constant size for this machine. I doubt it takes into account the cup size and the amount of liquid in the tanks. (the more liquid in the tank, the higher the pressure at the exit, the more liquid that is dispensed)
