there is one problem, that in 1943 the F4U was still on testing and was not used in combat...this game is historicaly incorrect...

No not really, i think half the population of the Pilots in this game are veterans from the real Bf2 series and Bf1942 games for the pc. Next time you see someone MVP on the scoreboards knowing he was using a Plane then you know he is a veteran...

I've had guys nade themselves in frustration trying to dislodge me from my guns. Trying to stab me MIGHT work once if I don't know you're there.. but after the first time, I'll pistol you, double tap, then throw your body overboard :D.

I hear you though, this game's ok* but it leaves a lot to be missed from 42. feels more like COD than BF. They can add all the missing stuff & I'd pay 25-30 for it, though.

yeah but before there had been a kill total of 43 million, there was no such thing as "air superiority". that feature was unlocked for everybody as soon as the community had gotten 43,000,000 kills

it looks like a great map and i would love to play it, but there's one thing on my mind, there's only two types of planes. they need a wider variety of planes. like ones that have a pilot and a gunner. that would be a really fun thing to do.

Coral Sea was better in BF1942. I loved taking my plane and crash landing it on an island near the enemy carrier. Then I would use my sniper rifle to kill people trying to get on planes :D
