  • Great video!

  • What did three acres cost you around there?

  • That's a nice setup. How about the property, is that yours too?

  • Hi im from Ireland and i just wanna say I love your accent and your cabin is so cool...and your wee dog is so cool

  • Looks good man...Keep ur powder dry.!!..

  • nice little set up you got there well done.

  • That's great ! I'd love to have a little set up like that to get away in the woods. You're a very lucky man.

  • I really like the cabin, you never know who's right down the road, neighbor;)

  • What you prepared to bug out from?

  • I have the same bugout bag in marpat

  • HAVE YOU SEEN THE BOOGIE MAN SINCE?

  • How are you powering your cabin. I see you have lights and outlets but I don't hear any generator?

  • I'm envious. Looks nice and isolated, Alex. Sometimes one must just get away. You need more kitchen surface, though. Looks too sloppy for me.

  • dont know if i missed it , where are you at ?? great cabin beautiful work !

  • nice cabin, but i dont think the chimney from the woodburner is safe going thrugh the wood, its should really have a metal sheet there, just saying.wouldnt want you to burn to death

  • Nice little cabin, I like the all around setup, and I understand that your reasons may be different than mine but I would put something in front of those windows (reverse shutters that open from the inside, or at least some blinds) I'm real big on security and I would hate to hear that somebody got the drop on you by scoping you through one of those windows.

  • @Caveman0713 it so small it wouldnt be hard to shoot him wherever he stands lol.....

  • @toppertruthio but seeing your target and shooting blind is the difference between 1 round and 50. If you have a deer in your sights (and your a decent marksman) you can kill the deer. But if its pitch black, just try to get a bead on the deer without special equipment. Shooting into a building and shooting a target through a window are on completely different ends of the spectrum.

  • @Caveman0713 yeah i know,i was kidding really

  • I miss my stove.... Love your pup!

  • how long did it take you to build that cabin?

  • 17 deg's outside here in Britain we call that warm weather and do not need a heater.

  • Awesome! Thanks for inviting us in!

  • Im really jealous now.

  • fantastic set up sir.

  • "show you outside" - opens door, head crap jumps in the face XD

  • and no woman to muck it up!

  • I am jealous ! All a man needs

  • Amazing. Where is it?

  • I love it! Looks real nice inside! Looking forward to finishing my "cabin on wheels"!!!

  • Will the cabin hold at least 70 degrees most of the time.

  • is that the deluxe boxwood stove or standard ?

  • Very impressive! Your dog is cute too :).

  • Very nice.

  • peace

  • That is one amazing cabin!

But the info about you shitting in a bucket, i really didnt need XD

  • Top vid!! Thankyou for sharing it with us.

  • I totally like your cabin setup. It looks very cozy and a nice getaway for sure! Thanks for posting the video. :-)

  • Nice backwoods digs. I'm in the process of making my first 'squirrel nest' here in the NC foothills. Great vid, nice work! ~ Tina

  • damn thats sweet! Thats what i want, but i need a bigger cabin because it will be in michigan and when it snows, me and my 5 dogs will get stir crazy in a little one like that. 700 sq ft sounds better lol.

  • Like your cabin, thanks for sharing.

  • That little cabin is sweet!!!

I wish I had one out in the woods around here to use for camping/survival..

  • Nice setup mate. I subscribed so i can see it coming along.

You say you are going to build a bigger cabin on that site so i can't wait to see that too.

If you look in my playlists i have one for log cabins. You might get some ideas from that.

You could fit a good compost toilet in that enclosed porch and store wood on the other end.

    Good luck mate.

I'd be doing it if i could afford land but its so expensive here in England. Plus they have regulations against building etc.

  • Coming along nicely Alex. I just finished installing a cast iron fireplace in mine. That thing is going to put out some serious heat. I see the electrical outlets - solar or generator? By the way, a little TMI at the end, ha ha. David.

  • thanks i will be adding on a little bit.i got to have a bed ,i cant sleep on the cot at my old age very well.lol!
