Does the submarine have a propeller? The speed the sub was moving and the angle of the camera, it was very hard to see if it has a prop.

You can use a small whip antenna which is generally to scale but much depends on the frequency you chose to use for your carrier. On the other hand the video "feed" (as you call it here is not live.

Really cool video. Just a few questions. How did you capture the underwater footage? How can you see where the U-Boat is underwater? And how deep can it go? Oh and what does the thing shoot?

@Airforceguy664 Used a couple of methods, one had a camera lashed to the deck of the sub, the other required me to go swimming with an underwater camera.

In fresh water RC submarines have worked down to 40 feet, in a chlorinated pool you loose radio signal in 3 to 4 feet of water, in salt water radio loss is immediate.

The torpedoes are 1/48 scale and scratch built.

Fresh water so no "real" sharks. I do have footage of an RC shark and a submarine somewhere in my archives.

This music is from "Das Boot" and is composed by Klaus Doldinger, im sure you can easily find the soundtrack.(also an excellent movie) Lastly, if anyone has an interest in owning a rc sub similiar to the one portrayed in this video you should expect to have to build it from either a kit or from scratch in which either way you will more than likely have to put a lot of time, money, and research into building it.

@jfpack Both models are in 1/48 scale. The aircraft carrier is about 3x the lenght of the sub ... it's big, over 13 feet long
