  • where is the factory?

  • i wanna work there.

  • PRS and Ibanez, best guitars in the fucking world!!! ehhhhhhh

  • @Alemdomais in which world do you live?

  • @antecresearch lalalalalala

  • Anybody know what they used for filling the wood grain?

  • I've played a PRS in stores before...they are ok feels an awful lot like a Gibson, like how it has a really fat neck...waaay to expensive though

  • PRS... if are good enough for santana, they should probably be the best guitars..:(

    i'm just dreaming of one:D

  • PRS is horribly expensive, but you get what you pay for.

  • Guys pleaaaase help me ..

    I've got a Cort G-Series

And i still didnt know how to play

But i just notice that my electric guitar doesnt has a tremolo arm =S

Can anybody tell me why it doesn't have a tremolo arm???

I hope somebody answers me !

  • @jackson68647 because you didnt buy a guitar doesnt have one

  • @jackson68647 It would seem that your guitar is simply missing a tremolo arm, take it in to your local shop and find an arm that fits the bridge.

  • @DanCrubenew Yeah , you are right. I've got one from the factory!

  • gibson....70% for the name on the headstock

  • @0adireita ha ok ever heard of parker? lol

  • A guitarists wet dream in 3 minutes

  • That's what I call Paradise.

  • pause at 2:00 its the guy from "metal ingection"

  • my dream is to own one of there...

  • they're so rough with it...i would never handle one like that if i got the chance to own one

  • NEED HELP! im looking at getting a PRS i play spanish guitar, but can play electric to some degree quite well. I was woundering what type of sound and genre of music to play on the PRS, like blues or latin? And whether a bassy sound or more trebble?

    Any help. Thanks

  • @nitrousN0S a prs can handle most styles of music as they are very versatile guitars except for extreems like thrash metal mayhem ect they can produce good bright clean sounds and excelent blues/rock sounds and everything inbetween the question is,is a prs comfortable for you to play?

  • I hate selling PRSs. The customer always want to trade it in a few years later and their not worth much used. The market is flooded in our area.

Sorta reminds me of the Parker & Jackson guitar floods of the early 90s.

  • I really wish i could afford a PRS......if I didn't care about bills or my children eating I could, but damn! I'll just have to go with a Carvin CT I guess.

  • Get a Gibson if you want just one sound. Get a PRS if you want many.

  • You can see the love they put into their babies... makes ya' shed a tear! ♫♪♫♫♫♪♪♪♫

  • PRS or a Gibson U have nothing!!! Nashville USA 641 Massmen Dr. were the best is made.

  • Love these guitars but I am disappointed I can't afford them and support a domestic guitar mfg.

  • you guys are idiots and have no idea what you're talking about. ESP and ibanez muddy? maybe its your shitty amp

  • PRS > Gibson. Period

  • looks like a wood slaughter house...slap that plastic coat on sell sell SELL!!

  • Quality instrument but I'm not confident that my musical talent, or lack thereof, justifies making that kind of commitment. But guitarists always fret over everything.

  • The nicest Guitars in the world.

  • I wish my kidneys would be worth a little bit more so I could afford one of these (just joking, but still, shame about the price. worth it though.)

  • apart from blue, awesome beautiful guitars!

  • PRS are great guitars.

I will attach a video i have uploaded which is a comparison between a prs a Gibson Les paul and an EVH Wolfgang.

    Cheers

  • Does PRS still make basses? I remember playing one about 6 or 7 years ago and I really liked it, but haven't seen them around the following year. The jack was on the backside of the body, which was quite odd, but they're awsome instruments, no worse or better than gibson, just a whole different animal.

  • what the song pls.

  • Hey people. just one question, i thinking about a PRS maybe a signature model, but also im thinking about a EBMM, i need an advise!!!!!!! Either PRS Mark tremonti Signature model or a EBMM John Petrucci X model!!! THnks

  • what so0ng is this its nice i could definatly record a solo over it

  • while i adore these guitars, whith the money i could save (not buying one) i could hire one or indeed several hefty young men to bum rape those who apose me!

  • I'm sorry but PRS guitars are the best in the world, and unlike Gibson are worth the money. And Gibson keeps on raising prices, now the LP Standard is so expensive you could easily get a good PRS for the same money.

And before the bashing starts, YES I have played both of them, and I have experienced both live as in seen bands that use them.

    PRS all the way.

  • You get what you pay for.

Top quality materials and Made in the USA.

Stop bitching and support USA Products.

Americans don't make 3rd world country wages.

  • They arent over-priced. They are expensive because of what goes into them.

  • They are overpriced, but they play & sound amazing!

  • Comment removed

  • seeing this video just strengthens my inclination to say that PRS guitars are overrated and overpriced

  • Yes they are

  • Oh really? Then what does that make gibsons? Gibson guitars are often times much pricier than PRS guitars, and have less quality control now. And they keep putting out shit products like the dusk tiger. PRS' top of the line may be expensive, but their SE line is top notch compared to other guitars under 1000$ like Epiphone or mexican strats.

  • has anyone hear seen the twin necks you can get from the private stock.

  • yeah, they're in a rush alright...if they don't turn out x-amount of 'handmade' guitars in a week...it's back to being a whopper flopper.

  • pretty cool video, more amazing song.

  • Nice guitar the PRS.

  • @cam201040

    one word....Ebay

  • those guys look like they're in a rush.

  • Ha, yeah and PRS's are so much

  • The boss is watching..

  • I think it's sped up a tad, and the guys are so good at it, they can do it without even thinking.

  • Love the song:)

And I think this is actually the main cause of the Global warming:)

    Haha:D

  • Should've learned right handed guitar...

I know left handed players who play right handed instruments better than right handed players......

  • what song is that ???

    ????

    pleaseee !!!!

  • dont you know what an you tube to mp3 converter is look at google and download it than you put inside the link than convert and its done you have the song xD

  • what song is that?

  • LOL Hey Carrot. I ran into you by accident. Cheers from SD Forums.

    - FR

  • The free DVD thing is bullshit, nothing on the site mentions it.

  • The video was posted over 3 years ago.

  • Hey wtf only one Mexican working their :P

  • i wonder if you work there you can have one of those

  • I'd imagine they just get a big discount.

  • @rangerinthehood

if so then ill haul my white ass to the nearest factory to work there

  • @rangerinthehood Probably a discount

  • 2:42 that is the best job ever..for real..

  • PRS ROCKS!! He looks like a Young Howard Stern in the opening of this clip Ha ha!!!

  • I'm Gonna work there.

    and steal one!

  • i'm a fender guy

  • The last guy in the video has the best job in the world, to test play every guitar before they go out

  • i want a prs

    i want a free prs :'(

  • My PRS is almost perfect for me.

I also inherited a '67 Les Paul... That's good too.

They sound different so I use them both for different things, PRS feels nicer to my hands though.

  • thank you for that info on how to spot a fake...

  • every one of them rushed out the door!

  • I have to say that PRS may be a relatively young company, but I just have to put it out there-PRS guitars are the best guitars ever made. A mixture of hand workmenship and machine accuracy gives these guitars a world of incredible quality and sound that cant be matched by any other company. A+++++

  • what a cool job that must be :)

  • PRS are beautiful guitars, the best of both worlds...............Fender and Gibson

  • People can't say PRS is overpriced if they are Gibson fans. A PRS SE Custom sounds better than a Les Paul standard in my opinion, and the PRS is $2,000 cheaper..

They are great guitars, with their own special sound.

  • Huh??? PRS SEs are made in Korea... They are along the same lines as Epiphone and Squier (or maybe MiM in Fender's case). The US made PRS run from $1700 up to $16,000, and if you want a Custom 22/24 it's gonna cost around $3000-$4000. I still want a PRS someday though.

  • don't all guitar players

  • PRS SE are made in korea, yes, but their quality is waaaaay higher than sqyuier and epiphone. they are at the same level of a gibson studio.

  • beautiful guitars.

  • i'm a gibson lover too,but come on....they are over priced and not the only guitars in the world

  • Wow...defending Gibson by calling PRS overpriced...talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Gibson's are nice too, but nothing beats a PRS in my opinion!

  • reply to chrija03

they are both overpriced, asian copys ftw!!

only jks they are both amazing guitar companys but i prefer gibson

  • @chrija03 Oh man, you're absolutely right!

  • @chrija03 Gibsons are overpriced. You cant get a really good one for under 800. I suggest ESPs. They're worth the money you spend.

  • @Zuggernaut22 yea ESP's are pretty great, but i've always thought they sounded a bit muddy. kinda Ibanez-ish. but they are definitely fine quality guitars.

  • @EuphoriaMusicSession I've been trying to find an inexpensive guitar that can solo and has that real rock/metal tone. I still haven't picked up a decent les paul. Do you have any recommendations.?

  • @Zuggernaut22 oh well yeah for metal, ESP or Ibanez both are great guitars. you could also try out some Jacksons. but the trick that i've found for working with metal, is it's almost more about what kind of amp you choose. if you already have a decent guitar, you should check out some Peavey, Line 6, or even some Vox amps

  • @EuphoriaMusicSession I had an ESP EC500 and a Line6 Spider 3 half stack. The amp itself wasn't amazing, and the guitar was hard to solo on. I'm looking into Jacksons.

  • @EuphoriaMusicSession and blackstar.

  • @MrRichard911 oh yeah totally blackstar rules!

  • @chrija03 PRS beats Gibson any day. FENDER beats Gibson anyday. don't get me wrong, i like Gibsons, but i don't think i'd ever want to own one unless i was given it for free or paid to own one :)

  • @chrija03

    especially in matter of quality

  • "Only a gibson is good enough."

Another one blinded by Gibson advertisement. Does a 600$ SG Special have more soul than a PRS Custom 24? Is there a soul to be heard anyway? I don't think so.

  • reason behind the price is most PRS guitars are hand made. thats soul put into the pride of making those guitars

  • They are not hand made... The reason PRS doesnt offer ebony necks is because the machine that slams all 22/24 fretts home at once has to much pressure and cracks the brittle ebony. Most of PRS is CNC. Its an expensive and slightly sexier version of Carvin. Not to say that they are bad but most of the PRS is Machine finished

  • What song is this?

  • Hey can anyone help me... ive got a Prs custom 22 ive just renewed the strings and everytime i drop the tunning down to drop D All the strings go out... all mine other guitars dont do this... does anyone know what the problem is?

  • Does your guitar have the standard trem? Have you changed the gauge or brand of your strings?

The main thing is that you're dropping the tension on all of your strings so the springs that are balancing your trem are pulling the guitar out of tune. You need to adjust the claw under the back plate when you set up the guitar for a wildly different tuning.

It's possible that the truss rod is a little over tightened as well. This is a job for a guitar shop.

Check out the forums. Good luck.

  • just always use the same brand/gauge of strings. also you might want (i know its a bit over the top) is get a guitar for drop or down tuning and a guitar for e standard. it takes the hassle out of like messing with the springs in the back

  • i live like 10 mins from the factory and still cant get a damn job there.

  • where to buy guitars Chinese site?

  • I got to tour part of the factory and, man, I would hate to be one of their guitar painters. They have to be such perfectionists and spend so much time sanding.

  • LOLOLOLOL

  • It looks like they're made way better than gibson to me.

  • lol u r wrong...Gibson is wayy more expensive, but actually gibson guitar makers make them 100% by hand, and with no marks...They eye plot everything...And the guitars are still perfect. But ok...I like PRS guitar finnishes,...Nothing and I mean NOTHING is better than quilt maple lol...I luv quilt maple...And gibson most of the time us flamed maple (or brushed maple as I call it)

  • ahahhahhahahha really did u just say gibson are all made by hand, that might have ben the funniest statement i have ever heard sir

  • PRS, way better than Carvin!

  • I was surprised to see so much work is still done by hand. That really keeps the cost up.

  • or squirls

  • Does PRS offer factory tours? I just visited the Martin factory and it was THE BEST. Disneyland for guitarists.

  • Yep, you just gotta call and ask!

  • Yeah, and the ones that Epiphone rejects go to Fender for Starcasters and Bullets.

  • doesnt the guy from mettalica play this?

  • no they play ESP's

  • it seems like all these guitar factories waste a lot of wood

  • If I could, I'd sell my house for one. But I can't :( .

  • Looks like mass production. Just kidding. The God of all guitars. Oh,Someday!

  • I wish i had one. :(

  • Paul Reed Smith deserves all the success he has achieved. He continues to build the best quality instruments on such a large scale.

  • Now i kno why its so hrd to find a dealer in Australia (victoria), look at the size of the Factory.

  • God, I want a PRS Modern eagle or even just a custom 22 so badly. I will probably end up just getting an SE singlecut trem though.

  • I have 62 strat and tele thinline but im hankering for one of those PRS custom 22's,a green or blue one would be nice.

  • i like the single cut

  • ive been there

  • imagine working in a guitar factory and one day on break you just start buling the guitar of ur dreams. amazing/

  • their mahogany wide/fat neck is the best neck on the planet in satin.

  • after seeing this im gonna go try one ive only played gibson buy hey cant hurt

  • it can hurt your wallet. but i've played one and its definately worth it. but i doesn't have the money

  • i have the PRS Tremonti SE, when i bought it it was 700 dls now the price has dropd =( i hate when that happns =( but still everywhere i go to play with my band every other guitar player asks me "can i borrow your guitar, it sounds awsome" =) and others just say things like "beatifull guitar. nice guitar.how much did it cost you.if you ever want to sell it give me a call" i LOVE IT...i want a PRS McCarthy tho =( hahaha with the birds on the Frets =(

  • If a les paul and a stratocaster had a baby and it brought the best of both guitars into one, that would be a PRS guitar.

  • that is what makes them so awesome

  • A very loud baby, in a good way :)

  • EXACTLY the light wieght and body style of a strat but the powerful tone of a les paul!

  • my guitar teacher has one of these prs's and i have a gibson and let me tell you they are two unlikely rivals.beautiful guitars!!

  • omg.. i wanna work there someday ;;)

  • my friend has one with a solid rosewood neck, and it is really a fine piece of craftsmanship. a little out of my budget though
