Budgies are the easiest birds to take care of, but they are still animals you have to take care of every day. You have to change their water every day, same with the food. You have to clean the whole cage and toys once a week, and you have to clean out the poop of the bird every day.
That is too much food for your bird. You need to be feeding them a day's worth. Also, what are you feeding your parakeet? That looks like a seed mix with sand or grit mixed in. I hope it's not grit as parakeets don't need grit/sand.
I love that cage ha yeah I am really happy now cause I just got a new bird cage for Opal and its 5 feet tall and 2 feet wide and I got it for 125 dollars and Opal is so happy ha ha it kinda looks like yours but your has more shape into it
