To me, Lantz's attempt at Oswald started out okay, but it managed to get awful when he started to slowly changed Oswald's personality and appearance. By 1936, he wasn't even the same character anymore!
@KamekTV Yeah. Oswald was in his original from 1927 to 1931. Walter Lantz first changed his appearance in 1931, then changed it again in 1936. The original 1927-1931 design is the best design of Oswald the way Ub Iwerks designed him. The 1936 design is the worst because he look more like an ugly, plump, white Easter Bunny. After The Walt Disney Company got Oswald back from Universal on February 2006, they've reverted him back to his original design.
