No way man not a chance. I've borrowed my friend's windows seven laptop for school, and i have a mac mini desktop at home. I HATE this bloody laptop everything messes up on it, it freezes and it's from nov '10.

My mac mini was bought in 09 and i have never had one single problem on it. i can run double the amount of apps on my mac than the pc laptop, and the laptop has 3 ghz processor, my mac only has 2.26, i want a macbook so bad, i could run windows if i wanted to. but don't need to

using mac i tried to copy something and i right clicked. wasn't there. its the best place to put it!!

and i tried Ctrl+C. didn't work....

i found out some how that it is on the top bar thingy... took like 10 minutes.

personally i think both the mac and windows have their pros and cons. macs have the superior creative programs and microsoft is more popular so most games and such are made for the microsoft. personally i prefer apple computers cuz i think their products are a lot more advanced and simple to use.

Microsoft did good marketing, and knew how to make their OS useful throughout the years, while Apple was just making contracts with schools and trying to figure out a way to make Macs useful. Now they finally grabbed on to a purpose of creative editing and whatnot, which also helps their market. Microsoft slacked off with Vista frankly because they didn't need to try. Apple HAS to try because if they don't they will die off.

I have been using computers my whole life, I understand them because I took the time to learn how they operate, learn several programming languages and other neat stuff.

All of Commodore's main computers were better than their PC or Apple equivilants.

The only area that Commodore computers were bad in is disk access speed, which is a simple fix with either a quick software load or a fast load cart.

That is what pisses me off people is that they don't want to learn.

I must totally agree. I used to do 3D animation on the Amiga back in '92. When on a MAC Si it took nearly an hour to preview a simple phong material in Strata 3D you could render out several frames on the AMIGA.

Commodore 64's were ROCK SOLID computers and still are by comparison.

Also, I agree that MACs are for people that don't care to learn about the machine and just want to do the task at hand. Much like a soccer mom that needs to call a tow when she gets a flat tire.

I had an Amiga 1000, a 500, then the 3000 with the chipset and running Lightwave that came with the video toaster. That was nearly 20 years ago. While I love the Mac, it doesn't come close to what the Amiga was then.

The Amiga could do more with the 8 megs of ram than my iMac does with 2 gigs.

The only thing I didn't like was that damn boot disk.

I made "idiot outside" stickers with the circle loop thing that I made and would apply them to the Pc's at work. They never did find out.
