Great video. I love the speed that you spoke with.  It was slow enough for me to follow a large part. And intertwining with English really helped. I think this is the best video to develop an ear for Italian when you are trying to learn. I'm glad I found you.

L'immagine di Napoli (nel bene e nel male) e della Sicilia è troppo forte rispetto ad altri luoghi d'Italia.Questo è vero.Spesso gli stranieri quando imitano l'accento italiano lo fanno marcatamente in napoletano. Per la storia del mandolino, temo che anche lì lo stereotipo derivi dalla vecchia e cara Parthenope. Le emigrazioni dell'800 costruirono lo stereotipo che ci riportiamo ancora oggi. Il mandolino simboleggia la musica in generale. Infatti siamo un popolo di musicisti e compositori.

You're really funny when you wave your hand and wrist and say mangia la pizza. That's really funny. I really like that part of the video reminds me of my cousins and aunts down there, but they only say that if they see if you're not eating otherwise yeah it's not everyone who does that. Di nuovo, lo sviluppo del carattere è buono. Ma l'elemento catártico sembra mancare qualcosa. Sarebbe cosi difficile di avere la protagonista accidentalmente sparata e morire a causa di scivolare su una pizza durante il suo tentativo di fare una telefonata per chiedere soccorso? Gli elementi semplici come questi che fanno la differenza tra "lightning" e "lightning bug".

Nella cinema "Mariti In Affito", con Brooke Shields e Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Brooke ha un descrizinone di uomini italiano: sempre mangiano cibo bello, sempre potrano vestiti bello, hanno buone maniere e respetto per donne, sempre. Maria risponda con la domanda "Have you ever been to Italy?" e anche a detto: loro fissano a mammale, una poppona, guarda a afferrano loro gli cazzi. Maria a detto, anche, nel questo film "Vaffanculo!" Stasti furioso!
