I hate slow songs. I hate idols who constantly sing slow songs and bomb upbeat cool songs (like David Archuleta). Amazingly enough, I don't hate Melinda Doolittle; I think she managed to make slow songs listenable to me. I mean, all i usually ever listen to is upbeat funk, thrash, punk and metal. I think she said that because there are many failed pro singers this season...some of them had record labels or CDs but never really were succes sful in the business...and Paula, who went thru some hard times herself, is encouraging these singers. She wants to give them another chance I guess.

Outrageous travesty! This amazing singer has not been signed by 19 Entertainment (American Idol label contract company). According to an interview, she has recently found an independent NYC label called MPCA. She's hoping her first CD will come out around June '08, with plans for a second album of original songs and a Xmas album within the same year.

I started watching AI when I saw her on the audition and I've followed the program until her last day.I was in total dismay when she was dropped in the final 2.I think discrimination did it.
