Yes, this recording is a mess mainly due to the fact that all we can hear is out of tune banging on the drums. Uli is a wonderful player though, and one of my favourite guitarists. I don't know why he left out so many parts here. Why hasn't anyone uploaded the version from his Metamorphosis of Vivaldi's Four Seasons album? P.S. I just recorded a version of this piece. Check out my channel if you feel like listening.

I'm no Vivaldi expert, but I think the studio recording of this song (that can also be found here on youtube) is mislabeled... Its name may be "Ice, wind & fire", but it's not a cover of Winter even if its description says so.

Brackets...learn how to use them.

He nearly pulled it off - the recording is a nightmare, the low end on the drums swamps everything - and the drums don't seem to get the time right. But kudos to Uli for giving it a try, sad he forgot a part, but how often do you get to do this? He probably got one rehearsal and this certainly isn't his element ... though with time, it very easily would be.

They're not very together or well-rehearsed. I suppose they're doing the best they can under the circumstances. That or they're unionized and cut practices like they do in the states. Sloppy strings!

1:39 horrible mistake!!! He just stopped playing 'cos he got totally lost there. If you're gonna play Vivaldi to say you're good, at least be respectful and practice a little more so you won't screw up on stage. You don't see videos of violinists screwing up so badly, at least not very often - that's because they respect the piece and the geniality of the composer who wrote what they're playing.

When backed by orchestra it doesn't necessitate Uli plays for every single second of the piece. I fart very hard in your general direction! In future stop talking directly from your Bottom.
