@6X6wolf read it again. i have one fuck tard and i have had it 2 years and I'll bet it will waste a big name brand. but then again you already have your mind set that they are crap, and haven't really a clue as to tune one correctly or even read the fucking manual when assembling. like 7 of the 15 that have come into my shop with shipping oil still in the motor.
@juggernautxtr I read it again, you're still wrong. I NEVER said the bikes were stock, you need glasses! Second, well, I have more than a clue on tuning, I have a couple Hondas, Yamaha, and a Kawai, as well as some of the older Anphibs. I've been doing small engine repair since I was 13. The China built quads and bikes are copies of old Jap bikes/quads. Some even have the original name brand logos/name left in the molds! The problem is the metal is shit!!! Q.C. is non-existent!!
Not to mention the fact I watched a kid almost Die riding one. He hit the brakes and the whole bracket snapped off, leaving him with no brakes to wipe out in the weeds. We rode up to find the kid bloody and trying to drag it back onto the trail. He was OK but if it was a tree and not prickers, it'd be different. If you're life's not worth much, then risk it to save $. Riding has risks, but Crappy equipment is one risk I won't take, my life's worth more.
@6X6wolf it's worth doing the homework, sounds like he had a piece of shit sunl, roketa or other clone of clone company bike.
i have a Hensim 250 400ex clone. the brackets for the brake calipers and the calipers themselves are night and day.
sounds like they just bought by looks and price. I won't go outside of 4 companies. Kymco,Hensim, BMS,Jetmoto all produce parts for big five, and kymco actually has a quad that artic cat sells.and is also in mx racing so yes the chinese are racing.
WTF why aren't they snapped in half yet

China makes excellent products, provided it has no moving parts or never goes into a washing machine
