someone has to work at mc donalds to serve me. LOL
Primerica does have a do not call list. Should get the facts straight before you do a video. Its ok this company is not for everyone. If you wont make an effort to see what it is then its not for you.
@skinatzi007, I"m sorry you choose to eat fastfood. I don't work in retail, I have Asperger and retail jobs and sales jobs are not the right type of jobs for people with AS. I have everything straight - I have no desire to pay any company $40 or $20 per month for anything. I have no desire to sell insurance or sell anything for that matter. This is why it is not a "job" it is a "business opportunity". If it was for everyone, no one would be doctors and fireman and police - or musicians!
@skinatzi007, if they have a do not call list, why did Rich call me back in Nov 2011 after I told him twice not to call me in April 2010 and Aug 2010? I don't think all reps that the same do not call list. If they did, Rich would not have called me back.
@sandbar3000 As funny as it sounds, you "sell" evergreen time you interview for a job. Besides that, I don't think of it as selling when I help a family protect its income from financial devastation. It's more education than sales. An as far as the 25 friends and family, are you really selling them something by showing them how to protect against this devastation? Who would trust you more? A friend or a perfect stranger? You start there to build confidence.
@successtrackers, if you are selling anything, it is sales. If you are educating people, people go to school for that. This is a business opportunity. This is why some people like the industry, to earn MORE! Some people NEED to earn more than $100K a year. They are greedy! This is not a job. This is why you have to be really SLICK in your talking. If you can talk anyone into buying anything - go for it! Do I need this? No. I need a full-time JOB. I do not need to earn $100K a year. $30K okay
@sandbar3000 All you need is a job, which means all you need is to settle for not what you're worth, but what someone will pay you. Why wouldn't you want to be paid what you're worth? Also, if a job lays you off, will that affect your life? If you are not financially independent, you are vulnerable. If you're willing to run that risk as opposed to building something that gives you financial freedom, be my guest. It's not for everyone anyway. Some would rather follow than lead.
You're right. it's an "opportunity" as they put it. It's all sense making propaganda to lure people in their sweet talking brainwashing immature pyramid scheme of a business.
Yeah, you're right, it is a pyramid scheme. That's why they've been around for over 30 years and have excellent ratings by legit sources, such as Success Magazine and the BBB. Pyramid schemes are illegal. Please do your research before you spread misinformation.
@bluelite7x If that's the truth, then why does your company say things, such as "performance is based off of recruiting?" That's what I call a pyramid scheme. And your sense making propaganda is nothing but a load of non sense.
Again, look up "pyramid scheme illegal" on an amazing thing called "Google." After typing down "pyramid scheme illegal" in the search bar, hit enter. The page will then load up and you will have a list of sources to read from.
If needed, look up the definition of "pyramid scheme." Performance based off of recruiting is not a pyramid scheme. Performance based off of the money you make from recruits is a pyramid scheme and most never last for more than a year. Educate yourself
@bluelite7x Once again, you have contradicted yourself. That's all you and you pyramid scheme of a business do. You contradict yourself, brainwash people, and utilize super positive non sense to keep people in. There's more propaganda in your business then there is in both anti drug adds and the media combined.
@SuperGWIII Do you have a learning disability or something? I'll try to dumb it down for you. Pyramid Scheme = fraud. Fraud = illegal Primerica = legal Pyramid schemes = short lived (Two years max) Primerica = over 30 years old Primerica REQUIREMENT = State licensing State licensing = done by the State State = government government =/= pyramid schemes New Recruits = required to receive b/g check pyramid schemes don't work with the State. Get off your Wii and go educate yourself
@bluelite7x If you business is that legal, then why is everything a great big secret? If your business is that legal, then why are you telling you people to recruit so that they can make money off of them? If your business is that legal, then why are you lying by telling people that customers get referred to you when you have to chase people down? When you say customers are getting referred to you, it's supposed to be a direct statement that true. Not one that's assumed and contradicted.
@bluelite7x, I was told time and time again that all "you need" is "$300".to "start". Start what? Sales? HA. Well that is not a JOB. An employer is not going to ask ME to pay them. I'm looking for a regular ole W-2 employer and this is NOT it. This is for the one that desires to make "earn" 7K a week. Not for me. Nope. No thanks. I'll keep looking for a REAL job and earn 50K a year and - I will not have to give the "employer" $300 for me to get my first paycheck.
@bluelite7x, got a call again from Rich T. He called in April 2010. Asked him nicely to never call me again. He called again August 2010. I guess he forgot. He called me again (I wasn't home, so I missed the call), sometime November 2011. I left him a message saying "Did you forget me telling you to never call me again". He lives in Orange County, CA. If you really need his last name, I'll go and find it for you. But I don't think knowning his last name will make your day any more happy.
What does Rich's last name has to do with anything? Wait, you're not trying to use a pushy agent as proof that Primerica is a scam, are you? I'd be very concerned if you are

@SuperGWIII if you have a job, do you not think the CEO and executive dont make money off of YOUR work, if the work volume at your job doubles, they just hire more people, your salary doesnt double, but the CEO and executives pay does, especially if you work for a fortune 500 company, reason bein, a portion of VEO and executive pay is stock options, business double, stock price goes up, higher dividends paid, THEY make more....you do not
@carsonc29, I DO have a job now. I don't care if the CEO makes money off of me. I work part-time. Very small business. Your needs are not mine. It is obvious that you do not understand this concept.
@bluelite7x your job makes money off what you do everyday, so then i suppose your already in a pyramid scheme..and FYI, a pyramid scheme involves getting paid by just gettin people to sign up, it doesnt involve an actual service or product, primerica markets products for metlife, lincoln financial, franklin templton, invesco, pioneer, they even work with Equifax, which is a national ratings service, noone gets paid by recruiting people, do more research next time
@SuperGWIII noone has to recruit in primerica, you can get life insurance, securities license and you can just sell financial products..you build a team by giving someone else the same opportunity..thus levergaing your time, it cost a company money to put an add on craigslist,job.com, careerbuilder, ect..and then to go thru 300 apps for 1 postion, then bring them in and spend all those man hours interviewing several people, then hiring someone, wheneve you bring somneone in that
@bluelite7x does the work to get more clients, thus expanding market sahre without them spending money to advertise, they simply reward you with an "override" buy helpin the company expand their business without them wasting money with advertising...if coke, pepsi, mcdonalds didnt advertise, they could charge less for their service cause they would have no marketing budget to include in the price of their product
@bluelite7x Don't waste your time with these close-minded people. I just got my Dist. Leader promotion and am making anywhere from $2500-$3000 each and every month... part time! Can't wait to quit my job!!
I hear you sandbar3000. It's all a choice that we are given...the free will to decide for ourselves if it is for us. Personally, I will never represent Primerica in that way. It's about helping people, and has been for years. Some people, such as myself, have tried and failed with traditional "jobs" that you recommend. In my profession (design), good "jobs" are very hard to find especially in today's climate. Not sure why it's $300 there...only $99 here, which pays for the background check.
@GasNuts, I guess you can define how to help people in different ways. I "help" people too. Do I sell insurance? No. I volunteer at a non-profit each week and by doing this I "help" people. If I was to own my own business, I'd open up a non-profit and help the poor. This is my own personal defintion of "helping" people. This is my personal choice and this is why I took classes in non profit business for my MBA. My dream is to be a mommy and own a nonprofit.
You seem to have experienced an over-zealous, improper presenter. I'd never, ever, present Primerica in the way you describe. People would naturally have the same reaction you had.
However, before anyone starts calling out Primerica, be sure to get your facts straight.
Primerica has been in business since 1977...that is 34 years and counting folks. They are traded on the NYSE, and listed with a high grade on the BBB. Get the facts.
@GasNuts, yes, you are right. I have read that they have a A+ rating with the BBB. I just didn't share that info. Why would I, when nothing but "over zealous" sales people want something from me. I don't have money laying around and they ask me for "It's ONLY $300". Well good since it's ONLY that much, then the sales person can pay it for me. They are money hungry and living the dream of wanting to make 7K a week. They need a real 40 hour a week JOB
@sandbar3000 i dont know where you got the 300 from, but it doesnt cost 300 to get involved??? ut if anyone who works fulltime over a whole year and is unable to have 300 for anything, then it might be a good idea to look intosomething better, or at least part time
@carsonc29, It is $99 to get their special business kit. The point I am trying to make since you didn't get: If you are NOT WORKING, not on unemployment or SSI and have NO MONEY coming in, you need a JOB, not some silly business "opportunity". I was being offerened a silly business opportunity when all I needed was a JOB and earn about $20K a year. A business opportunity is for someone that 1. already HAS a job. 2. Has extra money around each month to go find people that have money. Get it now?
@sandbar3000 "silly" business opportunity..if YOU dont have the focus, ambition, and desire to have your own business thats fine, the concern i have for people like yourself is your so busy lookin for a job to support you, waitin around for someone else to give you a chance to work for them...now if you were lookin for a job and didnt have one and have no money coming in wouldnt it make sense to learn a business to help you bring in some money WHILE you look for a job.
That's not Primerica policy, so report those people, please. I work for Primerica part time with NO ONE under me and I'm making money, so the recruiting is not necessary. I'm a licensed insurance Agent and I help families protect the income of the breadwinner. No scam, just hard work. It's not like a lemonade stand, mind you, where you sit somewhere and customers come to you and you get paid whether they come or not. You develop your own customer base.
@successtrackers, I'm not a sales person so I'm glad it's working for you. I'll make it, I'll write it, I'll destroy it, I'll design it, I will NOT ever sell it. EVER.
