L98 C4 Exhaust note

Looking to put some chambered muffler eliminators on my 86' but am worried it will be "too loud" at idle, is it alot louder than stock exhaust idling?

where you get the air pump elimination pulley?? and get yourself a clear distributor cap they are pretty kewel i got one on mine has brass contacts in it but i cannot find the goddamm pulley???

you went 12.7 with an automatic and 2.53 gears ? damn. what RPM were you launchin at ? did u experience any charging issues with the underdrive pulleys installed? so if i do all the mods u did to my 91 6spd i should be able to run low 12's or better powershifting?

@mavidatt a suggestion dump that piece of shit l98 motor and go for a c5 ls1 or ls2 swap the ls1 is fairly cheap i had a 87 and no matter what i did to it it just couldnt breath because of the damn intake runners tpis has a mini ram and lingenfelter has a great mini ram hope this helps lots of luck to ya oh headers really open up the top[end and remove the fins and screens from the mass air flow sensor and cut out the front of the airbox all stuff you can do at home. half sec gain!

hey Sin when you changed out your exhaust did you need to do anything else so the info light inside didnt go off? I didnt know if the exhaust effected the O2 sensors.

TPiS 1 3/4" long tube headers, off road pipe, chambered muffler eliminators.

pretty much just straight pipe off the headers but the chambers take out the raspy side of it.
