The water is shallow, Then there is like quicksand under the shallow water so when you go really fast you just go rite over the quicksand, But when you stand in it you sink so that guy standing out there is just half in the muddy sand!.

A 250 2 stroke almost does a 140 km/h in top speed, a 500cc 2 stroke deffinitly goes faster than that and these bikes were pretty muched pinned when hitting the water so i believe it could be that speed. You don't hydroplan in a metre of water by going 50 km/h so please people, if you don't have a real bike, don't open your mouth about these things

@dragondefuegoo no se la velocidad exacta es dificil de calcular , ese dia terminabamos de correr una carrera del nacional de enduro y teniamos relaciones largas para andar por las playas, el cruzar por el agua no estaba calculado para ese dia solamente se dio el escenario apropiado y lo hicimos, lo que si, no lo intentes a menos de 90km/h porque pierde sustentacion muy rapido y te undirias , cuando mas rapido mas facil, el agua se comporta como cemento , lo dificil es ir despacio , un saludo
