thank you for your helpful videos, now I have a good idea on how to fix my t5,this is the first time I look at the inside of a transmission, but you your videos make understand it very good,
i cant wait to see more videos these were very helpful because im about to rebuild my t5 due to grinding in 3rd 4th and 5th. but i must say your videos are very helpful
Those were awesome videos, I was curious as to why my Skyline was making a grinding noise when I would disengage the clutch and when it is idling in neutral but now it has become apparent to me that it would most likely be the needle bearing between the input/output shafts, so hopefully I won't have to strip the whole gearbox down as it is shifting smoothly apart from the noise.
Your videos weren't too bad for a first attempt. You did a better job than I would have. I watched them all, because I am going to be rebuilding the T5 in my camaro pretty soon, and these vids helped me see how this thing will come apart/go back together. Just wanted to say thank you for the time and effort you put into these vids, and they were pretty helpful!
I can't shift into first gear sometimes, what does that mean? Does is have to do with the dogs and synchronizers?
