Bob got it almost perfectly, like if you listen to His Hot and Blue guitar that's luther perkins, but then luther passed away in 1967 if I'm not mistaken, and Bob Wootton stepped in and filled the hole

I heard this great artist spent most of year on the road for five million a year. Imagine that.
He must have been on a mission to spread "the music of our land".
Never had great commercial success, but I can't imagine growing up in America without his music as part of the soundtrack of my life.
