A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand;sorry i didnt want that happening to me
The choriographer vindicated Hector by that strike to Achilles' breastplate...the implication is that if they had not been wearing armor, Hector would have won. The surprise is clear in Achilles' eyes as he stops to look at the scrape on his armor...apparently it was a first. Very cool choriography.
that scrape in his armor would not have killed him. Homer's novel suggested in meant, that Hector was the finest warrior he had fought. Do the fact that no one had ever landed a blow on achilles. Hector was considered a great warrior, for not immedately dying. Achilles' simply looked like. i'll be damned..time to die.
wonder if warriors like the ones portrayed were really that skillful, technical in a battle,be it 1on1.doesnt seem like they'd live long enuff to be as good as pitt.
don´t think so but they wer probably skilled but the style achilles fights with here is a martial art style made by a bunch of stunt men so a fight between them in a spur of the moment would not be as good as this one
The Director wanted to show the difference in the men. Achilles style is extremely technical, but uses the entire movement of his body ( where it sounds like hes going to cave in hectors shield) Hector is a scrapper with heart. polished in combat. Not born with gifts.
No in greek times, greeks were trained to fight to the extent where they were almost dead. Spartans were the most trained, this battle isnt accurate, but greeks were definitely fierce warriors.
yeah if i remember right Achilles were a very self centered person, kinda like Riddick in pitch black and chronicles of Riddick. Even though he were a bit selfisch in some parts of the movie he mostly became something of a hero at the end were does evrything for Briseis and in the begining when he did not want to go to troy and fight for agamemnon because he didn´t have any honor, never the less achilles were cool in this movie still.
What fools disliked, Achilles pwn

Achilles is the one that makes all the difference!
According to some historical analysts of his portait, he was an army by his own.
That was of course due to the unbelievable advanced training that he had received as well as being almost immortal.
