This song is so sad, I've had an eating disorder for 2 years, I'm in recovery now, I am eating normally and am well physichally, but I'm still struggling with the emotional part of anorexia, which of course is the hardest part to overcome. I love this song.

Some many people in this world just put on a face, pretend to everyone that they are ok, that they are in control but really they are drowning behind the mask. you have this song wrong. its about drug abuse, a girl that has a depressed life and she tries to solve her sadness with drugs. they say 'she found a little bit of something, she used to drown' because she used drugs to drown her sorrows, and she says 'im alive i am free' saying that the drugs cheered her up but no amont is big enough to get rid of her pain forever :(
