Flash content has gotten MBP's into the 85C range easily, though if the user knows how to control the fan speed, you can keep it below 80. There have been reports of serious discomfort and even burns from using aluminum MBP's in peoples laps.

@redice1024 There are several models from several manufacturers that have equal or better battery life. Many of the notebooks in Asus's UL and U series have reported up to 10 hours of battery life with an average of 8, there are several Acer Timeline and TimelineX models that boast 8 hours, some Panasonic notebooks, many Netbooks, a couple Gateways. This can all be found online very easily. There isn't really a "ranking" but I would place the MB and MBP as high-tier. Not the highest, but high.
