She later found out that the dog belonged to somebody else. Whoever brought her the dog probably was the one who killed it.

I think of the case of this, is someone is looking for a scapegoat to pin the missing dog on, and since she stands out as someone who is out of the norm. Such as claiming she's half human/half wolf. People automatically assume, "Yeah, that sicko did it!" especially given the interest in taxidermy. Unless there is hard proof to prove otherwise that she's guilty of anything, its best to just let it lie. As for the half wolf/human thing. There is such a thing known as Therian. Which goes w/to that.

I heard she killed the dog, so I searched it up myself to see if it was true, and found the CBS news article, everything I read in it was what I posted up. I just looked at the CBS article, myself, and it doesn't say she killed the dog. You are claiming that the news article said she killed the dog, and that the dog was, indeed, Rigsby. That was not said in the news article at all.

Interesting, because when I read the article, it actually had a statement from her that she severed the head of a missing dog and posted it online. From which, the owner of Rigsby was horrified at what she saw. I have not seen the "original" pictures, but if anyone can take somebody's dog, and post pictures of it's severed head online, then there is something wrong with them. I don't mind taxidermy, I think it's interesting; it's when you bring in innocent animals it's sick.

Moving on to semantics, most other sources say that she was not the one who put the photo online. As for 'happily', I, personally, haven't seen any signs of that fitting her personality in the videos that she is in.
