  • Great find and for a great price! The ATR700 was built by TEAC for Ampex . Mostly found in radio station spot studios, colleges, and small studios for mastering chores. Now all you need are some NAB hub adaptors, and some Ampex/Quantegy 456 and try it out at 15 IPS. It'll knock your socks off! Cheers!

  • @stratocat9999 yha, it is a nice one. like you said it is out of a radio station, witch one i don't know.i got some10" reel adapters with my Akia x355, it is not working now so that is why they are not sitting next to each other. it dose wonderfully at 15, sounds better than my computer! and that 10" reel i have there, well i got it finished. and as soon as my x355 stops blowing its fuses, ill make a vid of it.

  • Very nice reel-to-reel. It's odd that your camera sounds like a film camera like a super 8.

  • @CassetteMaster that cammara is nuts, got that reel finished. it turns out i goofed and the reel is 9.75 inches insted of 10, of 10 1/2 inches
