@brunebiscuit You would probably have things you don't upload into your facebook, that does not mean that is bad or good if you hide your privacy, privacy is only privacy, something that is yours and from no one else. The thing is that once your privacy as being invaded, taken and kept somewhere else, you don't know for what is going to be used for. They will always say that all kind of research are for our protection, but could be for marketing and much more.
You can control 'what you post'. All that shit isn't mandatory to put on there. I agree facebook is a huge and blatant attack on privacy, anyone can find you, but at the same time you can find anyone too. It's a bad thing and a good thing. I only wish everyone didn't rapidly jump on the facebook bandwagon, I miss the day when myspace ruled the web. Then they started changing their layout WAY too much. It was great, you had amazing privacy, could express yourself and find so much new music.
but seriously, information raking has been going on ever since we fist started logging in to sites. they make the majority of their income selling on our details to third parties, it's not that big-a-deal really... :/
Better stay off the computer altogether if you're worried about this. Dump your cellphone and your car too. If you're really concerned just move to Omish country so you can be totally off the grid. (snicker)
That's not the point though. Their suppose to be a social site, yet it's turning into a place where they can store all your information. I don't even trust that all your info will be gone when you delete
Privacy? Come on. there are 7 billion people on this world, you seriously think you're special or they care about what you do or want? If they gather this data, is it a loss for you? NO, infact it might be an upside if you think about it..
They want to round us up like cattle and they dont want us to step out of line. Thats why RFID chips are gradually getting brought in and did you know under the new homeland security law that they can put you in prison for writing anti government material and also put you in prison for holding anti government demonstrations? Why you think people like daniel estulin/ben fullford have been given death threats and attempted assasinations? Its because they think above the flock
and coincidently on facebook an anti government group was formed that had 5000 members looking to demonstrate. This group was SHUTDOWN for no reason......
wow if you dont think its a bad thing when the people that are supposed to be protecting your rights and privacy that is only granted to those that have the privledge of living in freedom then you must not be much of a thinker, no offense (yumm1emonster).
