The US are better equipped and larger in number which puts it in the position. The British Army is weak because of its lack of funding and numbers, not because of the quality of its men.

They are stronger as individual soldiers as a result, deprive people of comfortable choices and they are forced to think laterally - A british infantryman is expected to think outside the box more than your average western soldier, which is why there is such an age-old tradition for special forces, unconventional tactics and in particular saboteurs, something that requires a lot of lateral thought.
@Yakkahboo So yes, while they have less money and men than the US army, this counts for very little on the battlefield, as is proven time and time again. Equipment does not make you a good soldier, nor a strong army, the ability to quickly adapt to the unknown and regain the initiative without hesitating does, only necessity and experience can train you for that. The only time they might be considered weak would be in a hypothetical conventional war against a strong power, which won't happen.

I would never truly put down ANY person or group in any branch; but we all have some wisecracks that can be good for a chuckle, even by the "targets." Believe me, I suffer from the failure of distinction of some people between Special FORCES and Special SERVICES, but it usually results in a good laugh.
The key thing to consider is the basic mission difference between Special Forces and SEALS: SF works long-term with indigenous people, SEALS is a strike force - and a damned good one.

If you fuck up the senior nco's or officers will give you shit. Just like in basic. Plus the guys in the back are instructors for Special Forces. If you look at the mouths of the instructors you can see their mouths actually saying "hey fuck head" and the other stuff. they actually say this shit. If you are that upset about it you need to get the dick out of your ass. it's a fucking joke

trigger5332 how stupid are you? this entire video clip is a joke. so take it easy jerky. i served in AF on a team with one of the guys in the video and trust me, he did his part, and he is a real talib killer. it was not his choice to be an instructor, he was given orders. he has since been back on a team and done a lot more down range, so go fuck yourself douchebag.

I would never truly put down ANY person or group in any branch; but we all have some wisecracks that can be good for a chuckle, even by the "targets." Believe me, I suffer from the failure of distinction of some people between Special FORCES and Special SERVICES, but it usually results in a good laugh.
The key thing to consider is the basic mission difference between Special Forces and SEALS: SF works long-term with indigenous people, SEALS is a strike force - and a damned good one.
