Just found this again after many months. In reply to ferraridinoman comment. " Thanks again Jeff for posting this vid. The pedal used is the one which I bought from you and is doing cracking service in and around London. Interesting effect which I have always liked" Hope all is OK in CI." Mike
As about much idea how to use a Dearmond 610 as to play the dam guitar!! ha ha! (check ot Dave Berry's recording of The Crying game (Guitar/Dearmond 610 played by Big Jim Sullivan, or many mid to late 60s Shads numbers!)
@ferraridinoman - if you were able to read you would see my comment said " Recorded to show pots aren't crackling and that is fully functioning rather than showing off my guitar 'skills'! "
Thanks for encouraging word - I suggest you keep them to yourself in future..... "ha ha!"
The best demo of these is Dave Berry's 60's record The Cryin Game. The effect is to drive the pedal in a circling motion starting top left and going down and right. The guitarist does tend to look a bit demented operating one of these but the effect produced is like a forerunner of the WahWah but different and there is nothing else which sounds like it. I first saw one in 1964, and in 1965 I made a record at IBC studios on which Jimmy Page played using one so I had to buy one.
