  • I love you Joe SOuth the rest of you fakers fuck-off and give the stage back to Joe South.

  • @nicholsjoshua15 Hey screw you! Billy Joe Royal is every bit as good a performer. I see Billy about once a year, he plays a small honky tonk and puts on one hell of a show. I'm also a fan of Joe South, he is an excellent songwriter and singer. I don't know much about Tommy Roe, maybe he is the "faker" you're talking about.

  • two thumbs up - precursor to where country music is at to this day ! great job !

  • Man, I sure wished that the three of them were back out doing this show. If that ever did happen I hope that Omaha, Nebraska on the list. I laugh each time I see this video I keep wondering where's Mr. South tux...LOL

  • Oh my God....I'm in heaven....I'm a Southern Girl and this is blowing my mind....I love this so much.....

  • Billy joe royal, tommy roe and joe south are all amazing , i love this ! i never heard it until yesterday, and its amazing ...

  • This was from The Ed Sullivan Show in 1970.

  • Pretty Cool!

  • Good stuff here ! Was this tape in Vegas? Tommy Roe & Mr. Joe South go way back. Mr. South played guitar on Sheila back in 62...

  • great to hear those old songs thx

  • this is great i love this video joe south tommy roe and billy joe royal

  • nice bit fun great

  • awesome - thanks for posting

  • Blast from the past...AWESOME!!!

  • Judging by the songs and the sideburns, I'd say this was about 1969 or 1970. Those 3 guys were great together there! Would've been nice to have BJ Thomas join them as well.

Wonder why Bille Joe didn't have any sideburns. Lol, he looked about 5 years behind the times there.

  • Fantastic video!! Thanks so much for the post.

    Barbara

  • Joe South, never understand why Mr. South did not go country in early 70's, The big three beretones Waylin, Cash and Ed Bruce showed how popular beretones were in Country Music. South could have lightened up his arragements and been a great country singer (I guess Joe is such a good guitar player he could not live with a three chord stummer).

  • @msherer260 I see your point, but Joe couldn't be tied to one genre. His talent was too big. JMO as a No. 1 fan...

  • Wow, where did this video come from? Wonderful. I forgot about many of these songs. Put one huge smile on this old mans face. Thank You so very much for posting. This is the best kept secret on U-tube!

  • Great Vidieo Thanks For Posting
