The tempo is way too fast... and yes this young gifted girl can play, but as with anything else with the Chinese, they have to be the absolute best..I wonder what would have happened to her family if she by accidently missed a note, God forbid! Also speaking of notes...it wasn't near exact which is a good thing because only Satch can feel the real exact feeling simply because he wrote it. It shows she is human. again way too fast for the song, ruins it * too bad!

I don't agree that she's a bit robotic, I believe that's more a stereotype. "Soul" is the result of having confidence in what you're playing and using timing, bending, slurring, dynamics, etc, to enhance your motifs and phrases. She has a beautiful fingered vibrato, and smooth style. She did make a mistake at 0.37 as someone else pointed out, and slightly sloppy in a couple of spots, but this is an otherwise phenomenal performance in my opinion.

(you can see it at the end) Also that fingerboard is neither rosewood or mahogany you can see how much it reflects my guess is it is just painted black , so really I actually think she is playing the copy. Still can't top the work of a talented artist/craftsman of a human being putting care and passion into a musical instrument.
